The Prodigy M3 is a domey, stable midrange that flies with incredible consistency and control. This disc is said to be good in all wind conditions and flies as well into the wind as it does with the wind.

The M3 that I got my hands on was a nice flat top version, not domey at all! I bought it used at the local Play it Again Sports, and after some field testing, it went straight in the bag. It directly replaced my MVP matrix in the straight to the stable slot. This is just my third ever prodigy disc (A2, FX-2), and so far, I have really enjoyed all of them, but this might be my favorite.

    Highly recommend!

The M3 is domey, somehow feels like a Comet for me. Some of the discs have a sharp edge in the bottom.

The M3 was very stable for me with an intermediate arm, didn't see any turn at all.

The 400 plastic is one of the best feeling plastics out there.

This was one of my first overstable midranges. The 400 plastic has a great feel and is very sturdy. I like this disc in wooded areas and it flies pretty straight before fading left. For a beginner, this disc would be smart to have.

straight! I need a straight midrange disc this is it.. the holy grail of straight and a soft finish straight with little to no skip.. I have 3 m3s in my bag for different occasions. Very comparable to a rock3 or a md3

For beginners it will be a little bit more stable but very manageable. For me it flies dead straight with a nice easy fade at the end. I bag 3 of them one is a little bit more over stable all the way down to slightly flippy. Disc is great for anybody who plays wooded courses that needs a disc for tunnel shots.

I have a 180g 400s M3 that has been in my bag for about 2 years now. I absolutely love this disc. So consistently straight and pretty well always has that slight fade on the end. It is a very workable disc. Great on a hyzer line and overstable enought to fly dead strait with no to very minimal HST on a strong throw. Will hold an anhyzer line well and try to fight out of it at the end. My average throw with this disc is around 250' (that's after about 30+ measures on the gps). Very consistent, love the 400s plastic. Would compare this to a champion roc.

One of my furthest flying midranges. It will always have a place in my bag. Not the best in high winds but dont let that discourage you from trying one.

Awesome disc and always in my bag. I have a buzzz roc3 and an M3 and they all work well with each other. I use the M3 as a straight shot to the pin disc. It has the potential to do alot but I can beam this thing as straight as an arrow and its nice and domey so it floats in the air. Depending on how i throw it I can get a nice finish or land it as straight as a putter. sometimes when i reach in my bag to grab my go to putter (champion ryhno) i grab the M3 by accident because they feel the same lol. That goes to show you that it is built like a putter but has the distance of a mid-range. NICE RIGHT!! get this disc you wont regret it. i corrected the flight rating to what i truley think it flies right. but im no expert

I've got a 178g M3 in the 400s plastic and really wanted to love this disc. After hearing about the mold changes and making the old M3 an M2 I was hoping/expecting this 'new' M3 to be slightly understable with a slight fade at the finish of it's flight. I I'll start off by saying that I really love the M1. I was blown away at how effortless it was to get some distance and how beefy but not aggressive the fade was on it. I can throw that disc in any situation and it will do the same exact thing every time. Be it low power, high power, head wind, tail wind, etc. Enter the M3. I was really hoping for that same consistency with a slightly understable disc and what I got is basically an M1 with very little fade.

Here is why I say that: I have in my bag a Gold Line Westside Warship and Recycled Lat 64 Fuse for my slightly to very understable midranges and I love how I can shape lines with them depending on the power and angle of my release with them. I was expecting this M3 to be somewhere in between them, meaning I can put it on an anhyzer angle with just a little power and it will pull slightly to the right for a while and still finish with a healthy fade left (for a RHBH throw). Or, when I power it up it will stay pulling to the right and finish with no fade, or hyzer flip for a straight flight with a slight fade left. I wanted a consistent slightly understable disc, this disc was consistent, but not slightly understable. It was just plain stable. I powered it up several times and it flew straight as an arrow with a very minimal fade, if at all. I threw it a few times on an anhyzer angle and it would fight out of it just as quick as my M1, but still had less fade. When put on a hyzer angle, it would cut in, but not as aggressive as my M1, but very similar.

Now don't get me wrong, I feel that Prodigy's mid's are their bread and butter and this disc does not disappoint as far as it's performance, only in what my expectations where for it's flight path. This disc was solid enough that I played with it in a tourney the second week I had it and I worked it quite well as it excels at plain straight shots. I'm just not sure if it will unseat either my Fuse or my Warship (if it were to take one of their places, it would be the Warship). I would recommend this disc to people who would like an alternative to a Warship or Buzzz as it flies somewhere right in between. I love Prodigy's plastic and have been very happy with every Prodigy purchase once I figure out what they really do instead of what they say they do.

Obviously that didn't come out in the format I typed it..... But I think, you can still decipher that.

Well well, the all new Prodigy M3. So, I got this disc so that I could review it for you guys...and to be honest I wasn't really expecting all that much. My experience with prodigy discs thus far has been altogether neutral. I liked the D4 (not loved, but liked) and I didn't like the D3. This disc however, has swayed me a bit. The new M3 is a sleek, sexy, EXCELLENT feeling disc. I can't stress enough how great the 400s plastic feels. Prodigy plastic in general has felt very good to me, but that didn't always translate into me liking the performance of the disc. This time was different however. I took my new M3 out to the field to get some good testing in, and man was I impressed. I went to the field with a Z Buzzz and a Champion Roc3 for comparison. I found it to be more similar to the Buzzz than a Roc 3, which is a good thing in my eyes. I had a 10mph headwind/tailwind depending on which direction I threw in so I made sure to test both ways. In a headwind, thrown flat and with moderate arm speed the disc was very reliable. A very straight flight path, some turn as I would expect, but a reliable fade to finish. Honestly, I could see no real difference in performance to my Z Buzzz. The Z Buzzz may be just a HAIR bit more overstable and a very TINY bit faster. It was very hard to tell. Honestly, I would trust this disc just as much as I trust my Z Buzzz, and that's saying quite a bit. It is more overstable that my champion Roc 3 and a more trustworthy flight path. Since I've already compared it to a Buzzz and I'm sure you know how a Buzzz flies I think I will try a little something new in this review and give it comparison ratings. Over stability.
