I have a first run 300s M3 and it is my go to midrange when it comes to hyzers. It will go straight and then hyzer back. A great mid with a lot of glide.

I throw a mostly trilogy bag, but this is one disc I have not taken out. I have a nicely beat in M3 in 300 grippy plastic. It is domier than my Prime plastic Truth, and has another tick of understability. This disc will create a beatiful flight and is very easy to throw. I recommend this as a beginner midrange, but is usable for all skill levels. I also have a clear 750 plastic version of the M3 but have not thrown it yet. Not recommended for moderate to strong winds at all, but usable on most days by me. Has not left the bag since I started playing 2 years ago.

I love all the Prodigy Midranges, and like this one as well. Great feeling plastic, comfortable easy release rim -- it's a winner. To keep the stability numbering consistent, Prodigy did the right thing by calling this discs the M3 rather than the M2. It clearly is less overstable than the disc formerly known as the M3. My 178g 400 series M3 seems to have about the same stability as my 180g M4. It is a nice straight flyer with minimal end of flight fade. I wouldn't call it understable, but it's definitely not very overstable. On slow anhyzer throws it mostly holds its line, but does kick out a little bit with some end of flight fade.

The top of the M3 is domey, while the other Prodigy Mids are mostly flat. While throwing it in a field with both the M4 and the M2, this disc just seemed to have more glide. With a gentle backhand drive, it consistently went a little bit farther than the M4. This is a very good midrange, and if you don't yet have a Prodigy mid, it's worth having. As similar as it is to the M4, I don't see a reason to carry both around in my bag. Personally, I like the feel of the flatter top M4, but could definitely survive if I was using this one. If you're looking for a little more distance from your mid, this is probably the better choice between the two.
