The H4 V2 is the retooled H4 in Prodigy's line of Hybrid Drivers. It is an excellent choice for players of all skill levels. Like the other retooled hybrid drivers, the H4 V2 has a slightly shallower rim and a sharper nose than the original H4, offering a more comfortable grip along with increased speed and glide. With a smooth high-speed turn and a soft, gentle finish, the slightly understable flight fills the hole between the H3 V2 and the H5.

This is the Disc! For a long time I never thought I would throw a Prodigy let alone bag one, for many reasons, but this disc a one heck of a disc! This fits the perfect gap in my bag that I was looking for: an understable control driver that flies far doesn't immediately dump and has a BH left to right finish. it does exactly that, flies far absolutely love it. disc feels a lil wierd though.

This is a great disc for someone who's beginning to generate some power, I'm not to that point yet, however it is my go to grab disc for a forehand powershot/drive, I have a hard time keeping this disc on a flat trajectory but I think that's my issue not the discs...

Mine is very overstable --so I'm guessing it needs some beating in.

Not a great disc, at least the mold I bought

I have not had good experiences with Prodigy drivers and the disc matching the flight numbers even remotely close. This disc is so far from the listed numbers that it is actually more understable than my Innova roadrunner. There is also a weird chemical reaction with this plastic that it slowly starts to build up a weird chalk like substance. My flight numbers with the H4 V2 that I received is 9/5/-4.5/1.5 and not at all what I was expecting. While it has been useful as a roller and a super understable driver, it's so far from their flight numbers that I cannot give it more than two stars.

I really thought I was going to love this disc. At first it was perfect for my slower arm, but after just 10 rounds or so (maybe 40 throws?) this disc became so flippy that it I needed to throw it on a deep hyzer to prevent it from becoming a roller. I don't know if I got an abnormal one, but getting this disc to fly straight has become a huge chore and I switched over to the Discraft Heat. Even though the Heat has a -3 turn, for me, it is considerably more stable and flies nice and straight compared to the H4V2 trying to become a roller on every throw. For context my max distance is just 330'.

    10 Speed, 5/6 Glide, -2 Turn, 2 Fade

Feel: Very comfortable rim width that is not too deep

Flight: On a hyzer, this will pop up flat, turn slightly, and fade consistently.

It earned a spot in my bag for a slightly understable hybrid driver with great glide and accuracy.

Quite possibly the best feeling disc for my hand in my whole bag. I consider this a faster version of the F5 for me. Very controllable, will go on any line I throw. Slight hyzer is reliably flip to flat and will ride about 300 ft for me (I have about 350 power). The feel of the rim and rim depth are perfect for me, and probably anyone with medium size hands. Holds anhyzer the whole flight when released anhyzer. Slight left finish when thrown flat, but overall pretty fast and straight.

I ordered this when I realized I had to throw my H3v2s harder then I really felt comfortable if I really wanted to turn get a nice right turning glide in their flight. So I ordered an H4v2 and couldn't be happier. It's like a longer slight straighter F5. I can throw this hard on a hyzer, have it flip up and start riding right before softly fight out at the end. This is a great disc in the woods, especially for straight tunnel shots in the 300-350 range. If it comes out to low or to flat it does have a chance to turn in burn, so fully power distance shots are touchy. It has a rounder rim then the H3v2 but I would say feels like a 10 speed instead of a 12. I put this is the bag for longer F5 shots or more understable H3v2 shots. I think it's a must have if you like prodigy plastic and play a lot of woods golf. The DGPT stamped ones feels great and are at a great price!

Prodigy has been doing a good job with their V2 discs. I still hate the naming convention because I think it makes it difficult to make molds that hit a similar line but have subtle differences. Anyhow, the H4v2 is a great easy distance control driver. If thrown hard and flat, it will gently turn and it will fade out right at the end of flight (finishing a bit right of the aim point). For someone who throws in the 350-400 range, this will be a very good placement driver that still achieves really good distance. It's a good line hitter in the woods. Feels comfortable in the hand. I think this is Prodigy's best driver. It has the control of a fairway driver with the distance of a distance driver. Very broad appeal. Good players will like it for it's workability, and newer or slower armed players will get good distance without too hard of a dump.

This has a more comfortable less awkward rim than the old H4 and is a bit faster.  This disc has a really nice understable flight and is very controllable.  Perfect for soft pop up forehands or for long flip up backhand s-flights.  It has just enough stability to come back just a touch at the end.  Lots of glide, easy distance, and a must have in the bag.

A great counterpart for the H3V2. Same feel and results with a more understable line. I am enjoying this disc alongside The H3 V2, an Innova firebird, and an Innova sidewinder. It is a touch more understable than the sidewinder and they all share a similar feel and speed. The confidence I have gained in this disc and it's family of discs has prompted me to continue purchasing Prodigy fairway drivers. If I am to lose my other fairways, I will try out the equivalent Hybrid version 2 disc for a replacement. Good job Prodigy.

So far I have discovered that these discs are smaller rimmed and similar to a speed 9 driver instead. They are also more OS as well. (Probably why they rated the speed higher).

That part is confusing and you should treat these discs as lower speed and more overstable than advertised.

Also, my sidewinder is much more overstable than it should be and the main reason it is above this H4V2 in my flight line's OS rating.

My friend couldnt figure this disc out and ended up giving it to me. I instantly liked how it flew. Feels great in my hands and has a reliable flight path. It's my go to disc when I have narrow shots or have to maneuver around tight obstacles

I had an H3v2, and it was a bit OS for me to get the flight I was expecting. As a result I rarely used it, then sold it. This is what I wanted. Very similar flight with a bit more turn, and feels great in the hand.  It's a good controllable driver- OS on powered down shots and nice flip up on hard throws. You'll get a good S curve out of it, and it will take any line you give it. It has enough backboned to hold and hook up as it slows. Good for all shots- forehand, backhand, overhand, and rollers.

If you have the room you will get some nice S lines and easy distance. Also, good hyzer flip disc for tunnel shots. I read reviews written by people that are not sponsored by anyone say things like " when I only threw Innova", drives me crazy...Also, this disc and a Leopard are no where close to the same disc. Everyone make good disc, pick what you like and throw it.

I am so excited that this disc was produced. When I threw Innova, the Leopard was my absolute go to for any kind of shot. Then after Innova, I filled my bad with Legacy for three years. The patriot was the disc that replaced my Leopard and was very reliable and gained so much trust. When i switched to Prodigy I couldn't find my leo, pat replacement until this h4v2 came out.  i love this disc and trust it always. If you want a disc that you can rely on for glide and distance this is your disc. Tunnel straight shots ? no problem ..hyzer flip shot with control?   you know what to pull out...thank you Prodigy for answering my prayers for this wonderful disc
