The Prodigy Disc H3 V2 is a speed-11 Control Driver that has been built similarly to the original H3 to create an improved and superior disc. Like the original H3, this H3 V2 is stable to slightly overstable, depending on the thrower’s arm strength. The H3 V2 sports an upgraded shape from the original H3, with a slightly shallower rim depth, offering an easier grip, and an new outside rim that allows for a consistent, yet faster flight with more glide. This allows the player to achieve more distance, while maintaining dependability and a slightly over stable finish. The H3 V2 can handle any weather condition, and is an excellent choice for backhand and side arm throwers.

    500 Details

500 Plastic was development over a considerable period of time to formulate a blend based upon player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. The 500 blend provides an extremely confident grip on the firm, yet flexible flight plate. It also provides a very solid feeling rim.

Very interesting disc. I tried out one in 500 and another in Air. I liked the Air better flightwise. The 500 reminded me of a Star Wraith out of the box and the Air was closer to one beaten in to be straighter. The shoulder does feel sort of odd at first but I got used to it pretty fast. I like 11 speeds and these do fly nicely. Rim is much more manageable compared to other higher speed discs. The Air really shown for me on forehand. A bit of hyzer and it flipped to flat, turned, and then began heading back right (RHFH). My average was around 320 but I did manage to get it to 350 a handful of times. My biggest issue was with the odd ridges at the parting line. They were very bumpy. This was on the 500 I tried. I did enjoy throwing both of them. The Air was my straight distance driver and the 500 was the more stable one.

This is the PERFECT driver if you need a straight shot!

I found this disc in a creek, I threw it expecting it to fly like a slightly less-stable wraith and still have some fade at the end. Nope, it flew perfectly straight on my very first throw. I immediately went home and bought two more as backups, and now it is a staple in my bag. Mine has a nice flat top so I use it mainly for forehand hyzer-flip shots.

For beginners, this is a great first driver. Nuff said.

For experienced players, this disc is a perfect shot shaper. Rim width, it's closer to a 9-speed than an 11, but it feels a good bit quicker out of the hand (whatever that means) than you'd expect out of a 9-speed. I typically work it on three lines: smooth hyzer flips, slow turning flat shots, and smooth flat to hyzer shots from grass or short walk-ups. Fills a good hole between the flippy fairway and beat-in distance driver (imagine the gap between a sidewinder and wraith for an Innova thrower).

This disc flies at a 9 speed difference for me.  I throw 330-350 and this goes maybe 310.  For my arm speed on a slight hyzer it will flip up and turn over a little bit before coming back.  The flight is great and every time I put a good throw on it, I expect it to be 30-40 feet farther.  For comparison my undertaker on the same flight will go farther than this.  My H3v2 is in 400g plastic and max weight.  Love the feel of the plastic and the rim size, just a bit disappointed with the distance.
