The A4 is a slightly overstable disc that fills the distance gap between midranges and putters and is designed for all skill levels. The disc is consistent and reliable in moderate wind conditions and perfect for short approach shots. It works equally as well for backhand or sidearm throwers. The A4 is similar in feel and flight to the A3, except for a slightly straighter finish.

Then I need a controlled backhand approach I pull this one out of the bag. Slight flip up out of the hand and glides wonderfully. I love this disc for my longer approaches that the a1-3 are just a bit too stable to stay flat enough long enough.

I really enjoyed throwing the A4 from Prodigy, it reminded me of those great Classic Rocs that used to be in production. The dis has a nice flat profile that fits comfortably in the hand with a clean release. The flight is nice and straight with a little fade at the end. Although this is in the Putter category, this is more like a short midrange disc. I was able to push this out to some decent distances. If you are looking for a controllable approach disc, give the A4 a try.

The A-4 is exactly what I was looking for in an approach disc Due to it's consistent over stability, I found this disc to be a great 150ish Anny approach around a tree etc... It will hold a 200ft ish all around anny ( my power level),before fading out to drone. By drone, I mean just drop straight to the ground after it has spent it's energy. Intermediate disc.!!
