I got this as a gyro Zone but it hasn't ended up as that. With the gyro it has it holds a bit straighter than I initially wanted, but that has turned it into a forehand turnover disc that just holds the line I put it on an slowly fights out. It doesn't have as much as a bite as other overstable approach discs in my bag so it needs a more overstable compliment, but it's still a solid choice that just fills a bit of a different niche.

The Harp and Zone have nothing on this disc! I swear the GYRO effect makes the disc better than all the other 4/3/0/3 flight number discs. The hand feel is great for forehand and backhand. It's great in the wind and always does what I want it to do. I have one in neutron plastic at 173 grams and a plasma one at 171 grams. I used the plasma in colder weather or when I'm looking for a spike hyzer to die on impact. I would like to see MVP make this in electron plastic so it could grab the chains more. You can also flex the baby on low ceiling shots. This disc is not leaving my bag.

Of all the overstable approach discs I've used the Entropy is by far my least favorite. This is one of the few discs that I can feel the gyro overmold actually have an effect the flight of the disc, and it is my main complaint. Due to the longer spin retention, the Entropy has a much broader range of flights compared to the other OS approach options such as the Harp, Zone, A2, and Toro. To deliberate, at low speeds the Entropy acts more stable than the other options, but when thrown with power the Entropy holds straight longer than any other option. Imagine a disc that fades harder than a Zone on a soft shot and holds straight longer than a Harp on a hard throw and youve basically got the Entropy. Some players may find that they enjoy this trait, however I did not. I prefer a disc that has a more consistent small range of outcomes over a disc that has a wide range of possibilities for this slot.

This disc flies true to its numbers. It goes straight then fades decently hard.

Mine is in neutron plastic at 174 grams and flies so reliably. Its a perfect overstable approach disc

I absolutely love this disc. Although it is definitely a utility approach disc for me, I have found so many uses for this thing and it has helped shave a lot of strokes off of my game. This thing fades extremely hard to the left regardless of what angle you throw it on. This disc has been great for the hilly courses I play on as it will fight out of anhyzer and just wants to fall out of the air which helps me avoid those shots that drift off into the trees 50-100 feet when throwing downhill. Although it isn't meant for every shot, it is perfect for a lot of them on short courses and wooded terrain.

I tried this against the zone, harp, and pig.   the extra glide has it for me over the pig. other than that, i noticed the i was consistency with the entropy where id have issues constantly early releasing the zone and consistently griplocking the harp.  i think it just right in my hand

The Entropy is a solid offering from MVP Discs. I had a 175 Neutron.

Feel is medium to shallow as far as hand feel. The Neutron plastic is nice. Grippy, stiff enough and durable.

My favorite putter/mid/ OS approach disc is the Zone and that's what I compared this too. It's a little bit deeper then a Zone. This disc is more of a true putter, while the Zone is more of a tweener. I prefer the shallower feel of the Zone. Especially for FH I get more consistent cleaner releases.

As far as the flight I would probably downgrade the speed and glide slightly. It is definitely OS but I can quite give it the numbers it has listed. Didn't think about turning even into a solid 15 mph wind.

A solid offering but just not the best for me.

I give this disc 5 starts, i used to throw approaches with zones but these entropy's are a little more workable, more glide. Forehand i can throw it full power flat out to about 250, it goes straight and finishes hard every time to about 270-285. Great for forehand tunnel shots and you want to pick a side to end up on. Backhand these need to be broken in to throw. I bag 2 a beat in and one more new.  I can't say enough how much my confidence scrambling has gone up, spike hyzer, forehand flex, rollers this disc constantly gets me out of trouble. It's honestly my most thrown disc easily.

I got this as a replacement for a zone I lost, and felt like branching out to other companies for fun. The Entropy does everything the zone does, and I personally prefer the Neutron plastic to the ESP. This disc grabs the ground well, hooks just how I need it to, and is honestly just as good an approach disc as the zone or harp. I use it as a throwing putter mostly, but I've putted with it a couple times and it has been just what the doctor ordered.

The Entropy from MVP is absolutely one of the most overstable throwing putters/approach discs I have ever thrown. Much like a Zone or Harp, the Entropy was designed for those short chip shots you may need on the course to get around something. Let's just say MVP far exceeded what most would expect from them. I have been a huge fan of MVP for years but I am aware of the hate MVP and Co. get online. I have even heard players say "MVP just doesn't make anything overstable enough for me" which cracks me up every time. Well let's put those "internet distance arms" to the test and give this one a try. I guarantee you will be surprised by this one (as well as many more if you could just get over your ego). Yeah I said it. While this disc is just too beefy to throw in my bag (as an intermediate player) it would be outstanding for any Advanced and even Pro players. Higher arm speed Intermediate players could definitely get some good use out of this one as well. So pick you up an MVP Entropy right here on Infinite Discs and see how it flies for yourself. You will never need another chip shot disc in your life! Check out this video below to see how the Entropy flew for myself and some good friends of mine...

Flies true to it's flight numbers. Great for soft forearm upshots with it's predictable fade. The only problem I've had with this disc is when i throw it forehand with full power, it tends to flutter and get overpowered and fall out to the left. Overall a great utility disc

Great approach disc. If you're looking for an overstable putter/midrange hybrid like a Zone or Harp, then this disc fits the bill perfectly. The shallow rim and flat top feel great for either forehand and backhand lines. The Entropy has enough stability to fight out of anhyzers for flex shots and a low enough glide for windy approaches. The neutron plastic is gummy, durable, and can have some beautiful swirls.

I have also tried an electron entropy from the 2019 MVP Winter Circuit. This plastic has a little more glide than electron and I would expect to to beat in to a reliable straight-stable approach.

I absolutely love this disc. It's been in the bag every game since I got it. Super flat top, super overstable, does exactly what you expect - FADE! Great for indirect fire situations, low speed tricky touch flex shots, both FH and BH. Great FH chip disc. Also excels at straightforward hyzers as you'd expect. Really nothing negative to say about it. I also was able to find a super swirly one that looks like Jupiter, so it's gorgeous as well.

Great overstable putter. Very flat top - comfortable in hand

Not too glidey, good for distance control

Can handle forehand torque well also

Very new/weak players might think it fades too early but with enough arm speed and form control, it can be your go-to upshot disc

A great compliment to your straight putter/mid/tweener disc

I'm a putter thrower hands down favorite thing to do I've been playing 10 years and max distance is 480 that outta the way to give you a scale on my arm speed and knowledge. This disc pops out of the hand so nice drops like a sack of potatoes mine is 174g it doesn't flutter even at Max power but I bought this disc to be a less stable zone and it is not instead it's a very angle sensitive disc that drops like a brick even into head wind being thrown downhill lol I thought maybe it would be good for a anny fh flex but something about it is very inconsistent ether it holds the anny for to long or it rips out to soon unless if you are a loyal fan boy I would suggest going to get a disc that does every better go get a esp zone and never look back Friends

I’ve played several rounds with this disc. Even did a full 18 wholes with only the entropy to really see what it can do.

Off the tee with a good snap it’ll fly straight then fade hard. I was hoping it’d fly similar to the Westside disc Harp as I’m trying to make an all gyro bag. They’re similar but it doesn’t replace my harp. The harp is great for 300’ RHFH shots for me and that’s what I was hope the Entropy would be capable of. The Entropy seems to glide much less and over all be a slower flying disc with the fade starting sooner in the flight.

If thrown on a steep anhyzer flick (RHFH)... instead of fighting out and gliding back to the right it just drops once it returns to flat. Falls like a brick, it’s kinda of crazy to watch. I’m sure it’ll have a great use if you can master the unpredictability of it.

When you're late to the OS putter game it's inevitable to get compared to the industry standards. The Entropy fits the Zone has been for years. Both are nearly identical in dimensions and flight numbers. The Zone feels like it's a tad more shallow, which I prefer, but the difference is subtle enough it's not a big deal. I feel like the Zone fades a tad harder while the Entropy gets to the ground sooner.

The Entropy isn't a brick, but it's doesn't glide very far either. I often throw it shorter than I intend when I use it for a throw of 100 feet or more. It will ride flat for most of it's flight before a predictable fade at the end. I haven't had it turn in a headwind, but I've yet to throw it into a strong one. It will pull out of an anny, but not very quickly. It holds a hyzer without dumping out. It's a good driving putter since it handles torque, but will not be your furthest driving putter by far. Envys and Atoms will outdrive distance-wise every time.

It's in my bag and I use it every round I play. The Entropy is a very solid overstable putter. I do wish it were in electron plastic for those touchier upshots.

MVP definitely need a disc to feel the slot of OS putter and the entropy is it. I used to throw a zone for my flick up shots but since using the entropy it immediately has taken the zones place. I think it's a touch more stable than the zon . Great for those shorter hyzer shots. Handles the wind pretty good. Would definitely suggest bagging one of this.

The Entropy is definitely a disc that MVP was missing from their lineup. First off, I really like the way it feels in the hand. It's not super deep, which I like. Honestly, it reminds me of a neutron envy in feel and a little in flight.

When thrown backhand, it went straight for a bit, then started to fade pretty hard. Definitely no flipping over, unless thrown on an anny, then it'll fight out. For forehand it's an awesome approach disc. If you like the harp, zone, or envy approach, this was basically that shot for me.

I also made a surprising amount of putts with it. I had to putt a little harder because of it's fade, but it was working pretty well. Overall, great new disc from MVP, I give it 5 stars.

This is the overstable putter that MVP/Axiom/Streamline fans has been waiting for. Perfect for upshots, for me personally between 100-200ft, and putting into a headwind. The entropy can handle flicks and won't turnover not even in the wind. Haven't ever thrown the zone, however, compared to the pig this is a much easier disc for me to handle, it feels better in the hand and has more glide than the pig, without having too much glide. If you are looking for a overstable putter for shorter upshots and headwind puts this is it!

MVP makes some overstable stuff man.... this disc is a total meat hook and it is perfect. The Entropy's grip is a bit deeper than your average overstable putter/mid hybrid which makes its very nice to grip backhand but not so deep that it feels uncomfortable forehand. The entropy like most MVP discs has an incredibly flat top and a small bead/lip to it. My Entropy's are between 168-173 and I can confirm it literally makes no difference when the mold is this overstable.

The Entropy is designed for utility so its hard to venture its uses outside of what you would expect. This disc is great for forehand, it has so much resistance to torque that you can really lay into this thing and it will fly super smooth with a pronounced fade and a big skip. This disc works great for touch approaches 200ft and in whether the wind is up or not. You can give it a nice firm flex and have it helicopter in or you can let it plummet to the ground on hyzer for a gigantic skip and I have found it incredibly easy to putt with in headwind situations. In my testing I managed to ace an incredibly short hole the second day throwing it (about 185ft) on a pure flat to hyzer line and have put it very close in attempts after so I would say consistency is a big plus in a mold like this.

The Entropy is a beast in headwinds and i would be hard pressed to try and flip it without doing something silly, It also does very well in cross-wind scenarios as long as you don't put the flight plate in the wrong direction.

The Entropy is very utility oriented and as such it probably is not suited for beginners, although an argument can be made for low power players using this for utility.

Overall the Entropy offers what a lot of other manufactures have been trying to replicate in the zone over the last few years and with MVP's solid manufacturing process I would say this is a must get if the slot is open in your bag.

After bagging this disc for a while, I can gladly say it is staying in my bag.

    Flight

The flight of the Entropy in Neutron plastic is exactly what the flight numbers say. It has a little more speed than your average putter, with about average glide, a great resistance to turn, and a rather harsh fade. With a flat throw, even with some power, the Entropy will go straight and then have a consistent fade. On an anhyzer, it will start fighting out of it almost immediately. On a hyzer, even a tick of hyzer, it will not try to flip up with a full power shot. With a forehand, the Entropy is money.

    Feel/Profile

The Entropy has a rim about the standard thickness of a 3 speed putter, which may seem weird considering it is classified as a speed 4, but the shape is where the speed comes from. If you look at the side profile of the Entropy, it looks like a cross between a midrange and a putter. It has a slightly beveled edge that still feels smooth like a putter but allows it to cut through the air a bit better. The PLH on this thing is rather high, but that is the reason it has a 3 fade. On the flight plate, this disc is as close to flat as could possibly be. With a backhand fan grip, this disc is easy releasing and I don't often feel it falling out of my hand or getting caught for too long. On a forehand, the slimness and low profile of the rim offers a great grip.

    TL:DR

The Entropy feels great in the hand, has a predictable, overstable finish, and looks great too.

Very reliable overstable approach disc. Its stability is right in the middle of the Eclipse Envy and the Deflector. It feels and flies similar to a Discraft Zone, maybe a little more stable and has a small but predictable skip.

You can find some of these in the beautiful cosmic patterns that MVP just released as well for an aesthetically pleasing disc.

Really reliable for the baby flex lines that you can use to approach in the woods without skipping a mile past the basket like the Deflector.

I was expecting the Entropy to be more overstable than it is. First day with no wind it was a perfect disc, great amount of stability both for forehand and backhand.

Next day saw a significant wind and the Entropy couldn't handle it well. Forehanding with wind, it would turn and not fade. I put the Zone back in the bag as it withstands the wind much better.

Wow - you can REALLY REALLY dig into this disc.  Quickly, the Entropy has found it's place in my bag AND has almost taken over the Envy as my favorite Gyro "thrower/driver" putter.  It has such a consistent fade that allows experienced players to shape their shots for up to 250' and beyond with predictable skips.  This is a phenomenal disc for tunnel shots, approach shots, short drives and ANY SHOT cutting through headwind.  I highly reccommend.

This is a must have for mvp lovers. Handles a headwind with no problems and is a great throwing putter too. The glide is alot better than the numbers suggest.
