Disclaimer: I am a predominantly forehand player who is learning to become competent with backhands.

I love this disc, but I had to break it in. I picked up an Eternal Freetail (run ET-FT02-22) at 174g from my local store when I asked for an understable 10 speed, and found it to be very stable, not true to its flight numbers. It may have been that I was a beginner at that time and couldn't get my RHBH arm up to speed. However, I still sometimes struggle to get the flight that the flight numbers suggest after both 1) improving significantly with throwing higher speed discs RHBH and 2) beating in the disc I have.

In terms of RHFH, I have a good forehand and have really enjoyed hyzer flipping this disc in tailwind shots. I really don't have to put too much effort into the shot to make it flip up and turn. It definitely will burn over if I put too much on it. I have also found that forehand rollers are very easy with this disc. I have thrown multiple forehand rollers of 415'+.

Overall, I had to learn to love this disc. I think this does work well for intermediate/advanced players. I have heard that the Apex Freetails are flippier and maybe a better fit for beginners, but I would still encourage beginners to steer clear of this disc.

The Freetail is by far my favorite distance driver! I have one in Sublime, one in Apex, and two in Eternal (my favorite). The sublime originally replaced my lost star roadrunner and has a reliable turn and really good distance for me. I then ordered the other two plastics to make sure which one was best for me.

Apex was always quite a bit shorter for me, but I could consistently throw it lower and straighter with only a little fade at the end.

Sublime for some reason consistently released a little higher than desired.

Eternal almost always went the farthest and reminds me of champion plastic, which is a major plus. It can have a little more fade at the end than expected, but I planned for that.

All of them feel great and the plastic is just a matter of preference. I highly recommend this disc to anyone (I haven't even played for a year and get my current max distance from this disc)!

Fantastic understable distance driver. Perfect for long turnovers, long tunnels where you need to hyzerflip it and THEN have it turn right late still, and I have never rolled any other disc farther. Instant roller out of the box. I throw about 400' max air shots....I once rolled this thing 550'.....pretty much dead straight too. It's wild.

Sublime plastic recent run is way more stable! Basically a super straight driver with a little fade too!

I was introduced to this Disc by my Good Friend E Bartee, I saw him getting some sick distance with his and I had to ask what is that you're throwing my friend.  He showed me his Freetail.  Then In a tournament I saw him throw a s curve shot right the cage on a 290ish hole and I knew he was onto something.  So I ordered my own, Freetail got the eternal plastic which is a tiny bit slippery when wet.  However it is very resilient, have hit many trees with mine and its still flying great.  The numbers make it very flippy, but I bought a max weight 175 and for me its a perfect hyzerflip disc, I can hit really hard on hyzer and it flips up and rides very straight for  easy long tunnel shot.  Love this disc immediately made the bag.  Its not the longest disc in my bag however it fills a easy long straight shot with very little fade.  very beginner and older player friendly I have already turned on a couple more friends onto to it. I recommend this disc to add 30-50 feet to your drive if you are an older or beginning player.
