The Sublime Bibcat is a useful very overstable but not absurdly beefy mid. I feel like it's a bit more OS than the numbers listed. More like a 3 fade than 2.5, however even with that heavy fade it still has a decent bit of glide. Its super comfortable in my hand both forehand and backhand. On backhand throws I can pump it flat as hard as I know how, and it still will fly straight with no turn through its high speed flight, then it will slow down fast and dump hard left (RHBH). On forehand throws it will fly pretty straight for most of its flight then fade healthily at the end, though not as harshly as on backhand. It can be torqued over on forehand throws as well. Its what I would call usefully beefy, as opposed to being a glideless brick.

The Bobcat is a pretty sweet disc. The flight numbers seem pretty accurate apart from the glide, which in my opinion is a little bit lower than advertised. The bobcat does its job quite well with a fun little skip and roll at the end to get that extra distance. I'm a fan of the sublime plastic and the disc looks super cool.

King of overstable mids, sublime plastic rocks, the bobcat manages to be overstable without feeling like a glideless brick. Hand feel is unmatched by another OS mid

Go-to overstable mid-range. Perfect amount of overstability, such that it will never flip/turn on you, but it actually pushes/fades FORWARD strongly. You can completely depend on it, but throw it much further and more confidently than a Justice or something like that which might fade out TOO soon on you, and fade hard with a hook instead of forward progress.

They're always perfectly flat on top, and feel phenomenal in a forehand grip.

    Stable and Smooth

175g first run, has a great hand feel and finish to the rim.  Mint does have nice edges on their plastic.  I gave it away because i only had one and could not find another like it. Flight numbers seem accurate.

Wonderful disc and my go-to for longish finesse shots. Flies straight into a reliable fade at the end. Super smooth out of the hand and the plastic feels great.

Background - I've been playing for about 2 years and have consistent 400' of driving power, maxing out at 450'. Bought the Bobcat in max weight

I've been throwing the Bobcat for a few rounds now and have been loving it. I lost my Zone, which I wasn't a huge fan of because it flew more like a Tilt, and wanted something less overstable. I decided on the Bobcat based on its flight ratings and I've found that they're pretty accurate. It'll fly straight for about 75% of its flight before starting to hyzer out, and doesn't have a ton of ground play. It also does well in windy conditions.

If you're looking for a reliable, overstable mid then look no further.

Also, the sublime plastic feels great and looks AMAZING

Review is for Bobcat in Sublime plastic (specifically the Sublime first run with the bobcat on the rock stamp)

Bottom Line Up Front: Great combination of glide and overstability. Beadless, so it comes off the hand nicely. Superb(some might say sublime) grippy premium plastic.

Many discs feel very OS because they're low glide with high fade. This disc is a little different being a mid that has good glide while being overstable. I think it is easier to shape shots with than many other overstable mids. I feel like it just has the right amount of glide more than its counterparts. Its not a night and day difference. You just start throwing it, and then love it. After not being able to put your finger on it you realize its flight just feels fuller (more glide). You may still want a low glide OS mid as well, but I would argue your bag needs this niche filled too.

Also, if you put it on a sharp hyzer trying to skip it, it will jump very much like a bobcat. I've used it intentionally to skip around a corner or an obstacle and it performs pretty remarkably in that application.

Its not actually neutral for beginner use. They will be able to work with it pretty well because its a speed 5, but if they're trying to learn they'd be better off with a Mustang (Mint as well) or a Buzzz.

The first run Sublime that I throw has gotten more expensive because once you get one and learn to use them, you tend to hoard them. Also, Mint is a smaller company and they tend to make less Sublime runs than their other plastics anyway. I would take this disc over any Buzzz OS, Drone, Malta, MD4, non-beaded Gator (now a Hyzer Mortar I believe).

Side note: If you haven't thrown Mint, they're very specific about runs. They have every disc marked with what mold run, plastic, and year it is. They track closely the unique flight properties of each run. This should be an industry standard; its so useful. So, when they do another Sublime Bobcat run, it may not have as much glide, but you will be easily able to find this out due to the way they pride themselves in cataloging their product. The Mint fan base are a tight knit community, but they aren't elitists. They're actually very inclusive and want to spread the word like they're disc golf's equivalent to the gideons. I've seen charts, I think made by one of the main people at Mint, breaking down discs for run and plastic down to the characteristics of the color.
