This is the one slot that I never felt like I had the perfect disc for. Of course I would bag an overstable mid range and use it when the shot required that type of disc, but I could never find one the I could grip really comfortably and enjoy throwing just as much as my neutral and understable midranges. I bagged a Quake at first which had a thick rim that curved inward around the rim. It felt good enough to throw, but did not feel as good as my other mid range discs. Then I bagged a Neutron Pyro. It had that same type of rim that you see with most overstable mid ranges, a little thick with that weird inward curve around the rim. It worked really well, and I thought it was going be the best overstable mid range I would find.

Then I discovered the Lobster from Mint disc, the rim felt perfect, it was the most comfrtable mid range I ever held. So I bought the mustang next, the rim felt perfect again. I lost my pyro and needed to buy another overstable midrange. I got the Bobcat and was hoping it would be the unicorn I was looking for in an overstable mid range the felt very comfortable in my hand. To my surprise, it fit my hands just as perfect as the other two Mint midrange discs I had. My mind was blown. I finally found the perfect overstable midrange.

The confidence I get when I pull it out of the bag is unmatched to any previous midrange in this slot. I just know that my grip on it is perfect, No worries about early releases or grip locks. It goes straight and fades. If I crank it on a little anhyzer, it fights out. It can take the torque from a forehand. I feel like every approach shot under 300 feet, I am parking now.

With my previous overstable mid range discs, if I could throw a straight line with a neutral mid range instead of the overstable line, I would always do that. Now with the Bobcat, I find myself chosing the overstable line over the straight line. It is truly wonderful when you find an overstable midrange that you love to throw, instead of just using them when the shot requires it.

The Bobcat is a reliable overstable midrange with a consistently straight flight followed by a reliable fade. With a flat top and beadless rim, the bobcat has a comfortable feel for both backhand and forehand. In Apex plastic, the mold is firm and durable while still having nice grip.

Don't get this disc expecting it to fly straight to overstable. The Bobcat is a true overstable midrange that is capable of fighting out of anhyzer lines and makaing for some fun spike hyzers. When thrown on hyzer, the disc predictably holds the hyzer and dumps quickly. When thrown flat, the disc rides straight before fading hard at the end. On anhyzer, the disc takes some awesome flex lines, always fighting its way back out.

This disc has become a regular in my bag and has been my most reliable OS midrange to date. More stability, glide, and fade than a Verdict, more OS than a Wasp, harder to flip over than a Malta... the Bobcat is just consistent. Can handle some extra torque on a forehand while still fading.

Strongly recommend this disc for anyone with an average arm looking for a consistent overstable midrange that had a dependable flight and comfortable feel for both FH and BH.

I bought this because it had the same flight numbers as my eMac Truth which is my favorite mid (I highly recommend the eMac Truth if you want a slightly overstable mid). This this is NOT 5/5/0/2. I absolutely cannot turn this disc or flip it to flat from a hyzer no matter how much power I put on it. It will flex out of anything with less anhyzer than a roller.

I definitely don't think it's not a power issue. For reference I throw other mids roughly 300-350, stable drivers (Destroyer, Scorpius, and Boss) 350-400, and understable drivers (Hades or Shryke) 400-450.

I don't mind having a pretty overstable mid and I'll definitely use it a lot but it is not the workhorse mid I was expecting like my eMac Truth. 3 stars because the numbers are pretty off.

This was my first disc from Mint. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by it. It is perfectly over stable BH. It flys dead straight with a decent fade at the end.  It's perfect for headwind approaches. Holds any angle you put on it and flexes nicely if thrown on anny. It compliments a DD Justice or Zone perfectly. This disc also is amazing forehand. Thrown flat it has a little turn and then fades. Can handle a ton of power and is quite torque resistant.  I can see this being a disc you can easily layer once you get a few seasoned in.  Great disc and the apex plastic feels amazing.

I ordered the Bobcat kind of out of hype to just try something new from Mint. I assumed that it was going to maybe fly similar to the Emac Truth or something but it definitely is not that.

I got my Bobcat in Apex plastic, which is a very grippy and somewhat gummy plastic. The plastic on my Bobcat is also very soft, which kind of gives it a unique characteristic where it doesn't kick very far off of a tree or anything. The disc is almost identical in feel to the Buzzz.

When thrown hard and flat, the Bobcat will go straight for about 80%~ of the flight and then start having a forward fade. It doesn't dump off, but also doesn't penetrate a whole lot. This disc doesn't care about almost any wind. It just wants to go straight, and then hyzer finish. I can always trust the flight of this disc. It never gets a weird turn or anything, and I know when its going to start fading. The Bobcat holds hyzers well, handles flex shots well, spike hyzers, and I even really like it for forehand.

Mint rates the Bobcat as 5/4/0/2.5. And I think that's very accurate. I'm curious what it flies like in different plastics, especially their new Royal plastic. This disc could easily take over a mid range line up with different plastics and wear for sure.
