The Warbird is a long distance driver. As an overstable driver with a high amount of glide, this can handle headwinds or power, proving to be a long distance bomber of a disc. The Warbird fits in between the Curl and the Bowie.

The factory flight numbers when compared between discs from the same brand might lead you to believe that the curl and the warbird are very similar in flight. That hasn't been the case with my individual discs. Both are excellent long distance drivers but they feel different roles.

The curl once beaten in, is excellent for Hyzer flip distance shots, or graceful turnover shots that fight back to flat at the end. In a heavy tailwind, I would reach for the curl over the warbird.

That said. If you're facing a headwind, the warbird is a champ. Due to the glide you have to do your part as well as one degree of error will multiply with wind. But this is a reliably overstable disc that is very similar to a not beefy destroyer, an extra glide gear to carry it further. That's where that control comes into play. If you're off with your angle. This may not wind up in a better spot for you LOL.  But it is a workhorse driver for those who can control their angles.

Extremely windy days, the Bowie would be a safer bet. But this thing is a bomber, for sure

I bought this disc recently for glow league. I was very happy with this disc performance. Flight lay out just like shown. The glow is decent, rate it up with Kastaplast on longevity. But the disc is great it want to stay in the air and has a reliable strong fade on the end. You know she's going to fight for you.
