The Warbird is a long distance driver. As an overstable driver with a high amount of glide, this can handle headwinds or power, proving to be a long distance bomber of a disc. The Warbird fits in between the Curl and the Bowie.

Not the greatest disc for all skill levels although the lower arm speeds could use it for a great headwind fighter disc. For the higher arm speeds this is going to be a great disc for the straight to decently overstable slot in their bags

Take a bit of an arm to fire this one up, but given enough working room it will turn slightly before a reliable heavy fade. Release on anhyzer for that reliable flip that will always fade out. Great distance disc if given enough room and height to work.

    Discs - 173 Bravo, 174 Alpha, 172 Glow Warbirds

Feel - The warbird seems to consistently have a solid dome and a very similar rim feel to the discraft force. It feels great for both backhands and forehands. I personally am more of a fan of the alpha plastic especially for distance drivers as the bravo and glow have a bit too much give for my liking.

Flight - The warbird is extremely similar in flight to the force. I would say it is much more stable than an average destroyer and glides a bit less as well. It has decent glide but not quite as much as the numbers would indicate. The warbird is a nice wind fighter for most winds, and could usually be most peoples most stable driver. I would not recommend this disc for beginners as it will likely be much too stable for them.

Not bad, like a glidey destroyer, nice and stable, good bomber

We all know most people (myself included) should not be throwing something like a Destroyer backhand.  This is very much like that with a hard finish.  However, for the sidearm game, it's great for me, capable of taking a lot of torque and making up for some less than ideal releases.

While this disc doesn't match the flight numbers perfectly in no wind, it is quite the disc. I compare the Warbird to a more glidey version of the Discraft force or an overstable run of Innova Destroyers (different hand feel obviously). I can throw my Star Wraith around 420 feet and with the Warbird in minimal wind, I can get about 380. It really is my go to wind fighter in wind between 10 and 25 mph. In 18 mph and higher of headwind or opposing cross wind, you'll see the -1 turn, but in no wind, I couldn't turn this thing over on a flat throw. It's great for force over flex shots and spike hyzers. If you are looking something with flip up, I would recommend getting either a lighter weight Warbird than you typically throw or being prepared to beat it in a bit.

I currently bag an Alpha Warbird, and I'm a big fan of this disc! The Destroyer of the Lone Star line-up with slightly more glide!

Have you ever wanted a destroyer that would glide forever? Look no further! Now you should know, this disc will fade and fade hard, But put it on a forced anhyzer and it will glide for days before finishing hard! I use this disc on a flex forehand line mostly, as I really don't have the arm speed to backhand this too far. But as a headwind disc, this is definitely my go-to disc!

I don't have the (RHBH) arm speed to get max distance with the Warbird. That being said, I love this disc for headwind shots and side-arms. It's also great for the occasional forehand roller.

Lone Star Disc plastics are some of the best on the market- very durable, grippy, and awesome for dyeing!

This is Lonestar's "Destroyer".  In my experience, it has the same overstability and reliability everyone wants in a 12,6,-1,3 disc, but also has that touch more glide ensuring an additional 20-30ft over other discs in this class.  If you're a beginner or newer to the game, you will find this to be a meathook, but you're still able to take advantage of the increased glide.  An advanced player will start to see the disc truly work its magic as it pushes for distance no matter the headwind with the same reliable fade at the end.

    This disc is a must-get
