The Copperhead, by Lone Star Disc, is an overstable approach disc with a thumb-track on top of a very flat disc. It is a beaded, slow-speed disc that is great for control into headwinds or for moving around obstacles on the course.

I love the Copperhead. It is a very dependable, torque-resistant, great feeling disc. There is no real disc comp for the Copperhead, as it is pretty wide for a putter and has a relatively thin rim-thickness. The closest thing I can assign it is the Innova Animal, but with substantially more fade. In the baseline plastics, it is more of a straight-flying disc, but even better for forehands.

This was the disc I needed! No other disc fills a slot like this and I can't believe it! The Copperhead is the perfect slightly overstable driving/approach putter! I throw it hard and flat and it'll push straight then have a nice consistent fade. It only turns when thrown on anhyzer but still has enough stability to fight out towards the end.

This is one of the best approach discs I've ever thrown.

Feel: The Alpha Plastic is money, LSD has something special going on in their plastics that are incredible. The Bravo plastic will be slightly more stable than that of Alpha, and the Victor plastics are the least stable.

Flight: In Alpha, this disc will have a nice straight to fade flight out of it. When thrown on a Hyzer line, it will hold the line without feeling "Dumpy". When thrown flat, this disc will stay straight for 75-80% of the flight before the noticable and consistent fade kicks in. When thrown on Anny, this disc will hold for 50% before fighting out of it and finishing hard to the left.

All in all, this disc is incredible. If you're looking for a consistent and reliable approach disc, I highly recommend you grab one of these!
