This disc is the "longer Zone" of Midranges. It's not as overstable as the Badger/Recluse slot, but it is reliably overstable, and is a good disc for people with power. It doesn't have a ton of glide, which I like, and doesn't have "too much" stability, making it very accurate. Definitely a disc I don't see leaving my bag, as there aren't many discs like it.

The Pursuit is the best OS midrange I've thrown. There's a lot of 3 fade midranges out there that fly more like 1 fade, but this thing is amazing. In my bag it's essentially a longer, firmer and but a shade more stable Get Freaky Zone but it pairs quite well with one. It's overstable and likes to get to the ground but thrown flat enough will still get fairly solid distance for its flight.

I don't like calling discs "point-and-shoot" especially when they're overstable, but the Pursuit is so predictable that you can throw it where you want it every time. Also unless thrown low, it typically sits fairly hard once it gets to the ground, which was a surprise to me given how firm Pinnacle plastic is.

On Forehand the Pursuit handles a lot of torque, never turns over and if it does it fights out of it fairly quickly, with a soft finish. Not quite as stable as I expected for forehands but that's a good thing in my opinion since I like my forehands to be a little straight because they serve just as an accuracy or gap hitting shot for me.

Overall, I would say as long as you have more than 300 ft of distance this is a great OS Mid/Approach disc option if you're looking to fill those slots I really think it can address either.

I have a first run Pinnacle version of the disc and my goodness what a creation this is. It is the ideal overstable midrange: it doesn't flip, it can take RPM making it sidearm friendly, it can handle power and speed. It's just terrific. It even sits fairly gently but can skip if you make it.
