If you're looking for the perfect overstable forehand midrange disc, look no further. This thing is my go to 250 and in. I can reliably throw it flat or maybe even flex it a bit, and it will always hyzer out at the end.

This was the disc for me that made me switch my whole bag to legacy. The icon plastic is firm, yet grippy. This disc is very overstable yet predictable. I use this for tight tree lines or 250 and under forehand shots.

Overstable Mid with an awesome flare off the ground. I own a Halloween stamped Icon - 173g. It gets around trees, it's very reliable in the wind, and it skips like a stone. Love this disc, just ordered two more after bagging this one for the last year, need some back-ups! Excellent disc, not for beginners.

I used to throw the Buzzz OS. Used to. You know, because it's near impossible to find one now because Discraft.... Anyway, I gave up looking for a new Buzzz OS and decided to find something that could take its place. And let me tell you, this disc is actually better! I mainly use this disc for forehands and I feel it has a super smooth release every time. The disc is board flat which i love for forehands. The Icon plastic is nice and grippy. I can confidently rip this disc out flat and it will carry straight for about 260' before it starts to fade. It's not a dumpy fade like other OS mids but this disc will fade. I also love it for flex shots in the woods because this disc will always finish on hyzer. I can work all kinds of lines with this disc. Would recommend.

Great overstable mid for when the Recluse is just too much. Headwind drives and approaches are easy to execute with the reliability and predictability of the Pursuit. Great feel in the hand with the best plastic on the market. Get one while you can!

A very overstable mid that can handle any wind or any power you can throw at it. It's very beefy. I don't get a lot of distance backhand with this mid, because it wants to start fading right away, but it's in my bag because of how good of a forehand disc it is. I am mainly a backhand thrower, but anytime I need a forehand shot under 250, this is usually what I reach for. It doesn't leave the bag because of how much I trust it with my forehand. While I would not recommend it for a beginner backhand disc, it should work good for a beginner forehand. And Legacy makes a nice feeling plastic that lasts a long time.

Love it!  For flick approaches I was using the combination of Justice (crazy stable) and Gator (less stable).  The Pursuit has replaced them both.  It's stable enough to do the shots I was using the Justice for yet I can anny it and get it to do the shots I was using the Gator for.  The Pursuit has bailed me out of lots of trouble.

The Icon Pursuit came out nice a flat with moderate flex. This mid has no bead but flies very over stable. On RHBH shots, it dumps hard. It flexes nicely both BH and FH. On FH shots it flies phenomenally straight, resisting HST and always fades at the end. It realy excelled for me on FH shots both from the tee and on approach.

    Love this disc so far.

Picked it up this weekend from bamba. I have been using the warrior and the mortar in this slot, and like them both, the warrior in diamond because it sticks so well, and flies like a baby teebird. The mortar for its drop like a rock properties. The pursuit flicks really well, doesnt glide all that well, but damn is it a really solid disc. I think its a bit slower than the numbers suggest

The Legacy Pursuit is a super solid extremely overstable utility midrange. It is perfect for hyzer approach shots that you just need to stick in the ground near the basket. I find it interesting that the Pursuit released the same day as the Streamline Runway. These two discs are almost exactly identical in both flight and feel. There is a slight visual difference, but when it comes to disc utility and purpose, these discs are twins. The Pursuit I threw had a slight dome (still flat enough that I consider it flat), but I also saw others that had completely flat tops. It appears that this run had some inconsistency, and being that I didn't throw one of the pure flat tops, I can't say if there is a noticeable difference in flight.

While the Pursuit is very overstable and works great for me, it is not quite as overstable and glides more than the Dynamic Discs Justice. But, compared to everything else in the Legacy Discs line, this is by far the most overstable midrange. Supposedly the Recluse, when it comes out will be more overstable than them all.

All in all, if you are a Legacy fan and thrower who still doesn't bag a highly overstable mid, I recommend the Pursuit. Because it is flightwise not really different than the Streamline Runway, or Westside Anvil, I didn't give it a five star rating, but it is a very good disc golf disc.

Fantastic overstable disc. I have tried the justice, mortar, anvil, gator, etc. None of these overstable discs were what i was looking for in both feel and flight. The pursuit nails both of these. Icon plastic is amazingly grippy and durable if you have never thrown them. The pursuit rim is more comforatable than the rims of the justice, gator, and anvil. The mortar has a comfortable rim but I never found a lot of consistency in it. I prefer low profile beadless mid range discs which is exactly what the Pursuit is. The pursuit also has the perfect amount of glide. not too much, not too little. It can still handle pretty much any headwind like a justice, but while it still has a hard fade, it doesn't dump as hard as the justice. This is a spot in my bag that has been difficult to fill, but the Pursuit has filled it nicely.

It seems that 2018 has been the year for overstable mid-range discs. We finally got a slew of really good, seriously overstable discs that seemed to be lacking: Anvil, Caiman, Deflector, Runway, Pursuit...  And as far as the Pursuit goes, it is one of my favorite of the bunch. It isn't that the flight path is much different, because it really matches up toe-to-toe with those others, but I like the feel of the rim on the Pursuit which doesn't feel too deep. I like low profile rims for smooth, easy release. Since I primarily throw backhand, it just feels right to come off my fingers when the rim isn't too deep.

I would not recommend this disc for beginners, since it exaggerates the fade quite significantly (that is what it is designed to do). But I would definitely recommend this to experienced players who want a dependably overstable disc that fades hard. It is good for forehand and headwinds as well.
