The Ghost is an overstable midrange disc with a healthy amount of glide. The Ghost has a substantial amount of low speed fade. This disc is good for accurate approach shots, when you account for the hooking flight pattern.

Pretty good approach disc. I can only throw it BH though. Has a very deep rim that I fond hard to forehand. This thing rocks though. Anything from 100-200 away I can throw this and it hits the ground like a bowling ball. Very predictable flight too. Easy to shape your approach shots.

The ghost is a really nice overstable midrange that is useable quite often on all types of holes and courses. It is a really consistent overstable midrange but not one that dumps as much as say a zone or harp. I find this disc to be a really nice straight flyer with a consistent dump at the end of the throw. You can trust this disc into a head wind or under a lot of power not to flip over but it is no meathook that won't fly straight. I enjoy the feel of it in my hand as well as the icon plastic. There are many overstable midranges out there and this has to be up there on the lists of must haves. I could see some of the lower end plastics beating in really nice to flip up a little bit and have a nice fade at the end. Give the ghost a shot if you are looking for something stable that you can throw hard and get some distance out of before it starts to stable up.

I have a tournament plastic Ghost that was won at a local tournament. Have had it for all of my time playing and it is hands down the best disc I've ever thrown. Mine varies a little from the description. This is a disc that if I put a fair amount of Hyzer on it will ride and glide on that line. When I throw with slight Hyzer it pops up to flat and stays flat through 95% of the flight with a gradual fade at the end. It has a little bit of a bead on it with a slightly deep rim. Feels very comfortable driving with. I use this for most of my open shots in between 200-300ft

    3 fade? Really? 3?

Naaaaaaaaah. The Ghost is a straight flier, its flew very similarly to a fresh Buzzz. Thrown flat it slides into a high speed turn then gently tracks back. Thrown on an anhyzer, it holds it.

    Good flight yes, overstable? No.

This disc is very awesome, but also a little bit of a learner.  Depending on the plastic you get, it's almost different discs.  I have an icon and a pinnacle, both 175g.  The icon seems to hold a straighter flight path and I get a little more distance and glide.  The pinnacle, however, will not beat in, fades super hard, can be used on windy days, and can meet almost any challenge, I just can't get the same distance out of it that I can my other mids because of the hard fade.  Not quite Roc3 hard, but still pretty hard.  The good thing is, that's exactly what I wanted when I bought a second ghost anyway.  If you are looking for a very reliable mid range this is a great disc, especially for long straight shots and hyzers. For me, it will predictably pull out of an anny.

This is my go to finesse mid. It will hold any line you put on it and glide for days. That being said, it is a terrible driving mid, as I turn it over way to easily, and then it glides and glides and glides farther and farther and farther away from where I was aiming.

Ghosts are my go-to midranges. They are just like rocs, and like rocs, you can cover all types of shots with a variety of plastics and stages of wear. Icon Ghosts are more overstable, fresh Excel or Gravity ghosts for straight shots, and seasoned Excels or Gravities for understable shots.

I have a 179 Excel Ghost and a 167 Icon Ghost from an Ace Run. I don't use the Icon Ghost because I didn't like the plastic and it's too light for a midrange. My Excel Ghost flies very straight when given some hyzer and it glides out for a while. When I throw this disc hard or into the wind, it flips over. It's definitely not a great sidearm disc, either. I never was amazed by the Roc, and the Ghost is supposed to be similar, so I see why I'm not thrilled with the Ghost.

The Ghost is essential to my mid range game. I replaced my Roc with this disc and have not been disappointed. It goes where you throw it with a touch of fade at the end. Icon plastic is like candy!
