The Cannon, by Legacy, is meant for advanced players who have solid control of their disc. The numbers show that this disc has the potential to fly further than any disc currently on the market, but must be fired like a cannon with precision, not as a loose cannon. When thrown with power this disc will exhibit a great degree of high speed turn followed by big fade. Is this the disc that will provide you with more distance?

On open courses this is my go to disc because I can put my heart, body, and soul into this disc on the tee and it handles all of it. I also love that it has a medium to low amount of skip compared to other drivers like a Boss or X-calilber. The Cannon is my max distance driver if I have the room. I can also put a minor amount of anhy on this disc to slowly turn over and only come back just slightly enough to land flat on the ground.

The majority of the reviews on this disc and really all high speed discs are incorrect because throwers are not using them correctly. This one in particular requires not a just a decent amount of arm but an EXTREME amount of arm. People generally see me throw and compliment the amount of arm I throw with (too bad the rest of my game is terrible) and the majority of my drivers are max weight. I throw this one in 174 and after a little breaking in due to the resiliency of the Pinnacle plastic I get the exact flight numbers printed on the disc but you need A LOT of room paired with the big arm to let this disc move.

I think most of the reviewers on this disc do not understand the amount of power required for a speed 14. If you don't get any turn out of this disc then you need to increase your power, decrease the weight or accept the fact you don't have the arm for a speed 14 yet and disc down a speed or two.

I have a 168 gram Cannon in the Pinnacle plastic.  I'm a beginner/intermediate player, and I throw my Cannon both RHFH and BH, out to 425', sometimes even in the direction I was aiming.

I love this disc, even though it's an absolutely terrible idea for someone as bad and new as me to throw it.  My Cannon is exceptionally unreliable and is prone to turning over, especially when thrown forehand.  Sometimes I can get a hyzer flip out of it, but usually I'm throwing it flat, hoping for a big S-turn.  My inconsistent release angles and arm speed don't help here.

I give it five stars because part of the reason I've grown to love disc golf is the absolute thrill of a disc coming out like it's just angry at the world and flying all over the place.  If you want a disc that does that, this is the one for you.  I rarely get a full flight out of it anywhere but in a field, but man is it exhilarating to watch this thing hiss through the air.

As I've gotten better, I have found that I can more consistently throw this on hyzer angles out to 375' that don't require the maximum effort I have to put in for a full S-turn and have been able to consistently use it to park a few more open holes.

The Pinnacle plastic is fantastic - this thing has hit a lot of hard objects going very fast, and it doesn't seem to be fazed.  I wear size large gloves, and the wing on my Cannon is right at the maximum for what I consider to be a comfortable grip - I'm almost forced to grip it like crazy, which is perfect for this disc.

The Cannon has extremely wode rim, so wide that it is uncomfortable as a backhand disc for me. I used it solely for a forehand disc for flip up or big flexing shots. I have tried 3 different pinnacle ones, and my complaint is all 3 flew differently. I had one that was overstable, one that was dead on with the flight numbers, and another slightly flippy one. This can be a good thing if you are trying to minimize molds, but can be unfortunate if you are trying to replace another losy Cannon. If you can find the right one for you, I can promise that it will fly very far very fast.

If you are looking for a disc that will get you distance, this is it.  But keep in mind, it has to have room to move.  This is not a disc for tight spaces or even tight landing zones, this is strictly for distance in wide open areas.
I am a FH dominant player and I top out at around 400 feet on a huge rip.  I can see this disc will add to that easily.  But you have to throw it just right.  The nose angle, the height, and the speed all have to be perfect for this.  I threw this, right about 400 feet with all turn, and it turned about 100 feet before hitting the ground.  So you need some space to let this disc take it's complete flight path.
I also threw a couple with the nose up and they flared out very short.  So this is definitely a goldilocks disc, you have to throw it just right.
The rim is huge on this disc, but it feels pretty comfortable in the hand and on the release.  I like the feel of the pinnacle plastic.  It has good grip, but doesn't feel gummy.
If you have a wide open course with some distance, or you just get that urge to throw something as far as you can, get a cannon.

Wow. I have this disc in Pinnacle plastic. It weighs 166g and oh my gosh does this thing go. The grip of the Pinnacle plastic is unreal. I had a hard time finding a destroyer that flexed enough for me without having to throw anhyzer so I picked up this disc and not only does it have the sexiest flex ever, this thing is so fast. Like so fast. I wouldn't throw it in any wind because it would turn way to much but a calm day and thing rips. I went from throwing 400 max to throwing 450 on the regular with this disc.

The Cannon is a great turnover disc for those who have the power to get it to turn over and give it a nice long flight. It has a good feel in the rim, the diameter is close to that of a destroyer. I think that it can fly a lot like a decently beat in destroyer where it has a good turn to it but will flex back and have a nice hard fade to it

I used to have a Katana but then I lost it and saw this disc at a store used and throught I would pick it up and try it. I love the consistant finish at the end. I don't know a ton about Legacy but I really like this disc. My only negative with this disc is that it doesn't flip up as much as I would like. This disc has a turn rating of negative 3, but it barely flips up for me. It acts more like a negative 1 or 2 turn to me.

I have to say that I really do love this disc. When I first got it was a very overstable driver, but after a bit of work and a few trees, it became a good stable driver that will flip. Not a disc that most begginers are going to like as it does take some arm speed, but will give you some very good distance if you can get it to turn over a bit.

Pinnacle, I do not know the weight because this was a found disc. I have trouble keeping stable to understable discs straight without over powering them to flip up and go hard right. I have had this trouble with the Innova Groove, Discraft Crank, and the Lat 64 Havoc, but this is the disc I can put on a hard hyzer release and it will flip up s-curve and finish straight. Very relible for distance. My go to disc for anything that isnt a hyzer or hard an hyzer.

Just threw the cannon for the first time. I'm about halfway to where it landed and I had to stop and get something to eat. Using the wifi here to say how far it flies. Will post more in 4-6 hours once I finish driving to where it landed. I started in Tennessee. I think I'm in one of the Carolinas now...

Air traffic control said they saw my disc make a very wide s curve. It kept it's speed for most of the flight and had a nice gentle hook back for a straight finish. "Wow" said one air traffic control guy. "Neato" said the other.

This is an interesting disc. I have only thrown it during a round once, but I have done a ton (over 1000 throws) of field work with it.

Let me start off by saying if you have a noodle arm, low snap, or bad form, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISC. It will punish you by a) turning over and spiking b) turning over and flying waaaayyyy to the right (RHBH) c) fade, crash, and burn. or d) sky, come crashing down to earth, and slice someone in half. That being said, thrown correctly, this disc will sail farther than all the discs in your bag. It will execute a beautiful s curve at about a billion mph, and provided nothing gets in its way, fade gently back for a relatively straight ending, several states over.

Do not throw if windy. Do not throw if accuracy is needed. Do not throw if the hole is under 400 feet. Only throw on wide open, windless, treeless, obstacle-less 1000 foot holes.

I love my cannon. I don't throw it as much as I used to, but I got my first ace with one that was pretty beat in. I throw rhbh and if you hold a nice heiser on it, it'll flip flat with slight anny and coast back right. Very reliable disc.

Not sure how i lucked into finding one of these. Was an early morn empty course find ... have posted in attempt to return. Needless to say this disc can FLY... while i dont get the controll id like if i just want pure distance this is what ill grab. The lip is very wide and sharp. Makes tuff to grip and ive got pretty good sized hands. Could see grip being an issue for lots. Need to get out and practice more w this one but a great pure distance disc if u are already in 350s.
