The Striker is another great distance driver for intermediate players. The flight pattern of this disc is similar to the popular Saint, but with less glide. The major physical difference between them is that the Striker is not as tall (1.6cm compared with 1.9cm height).

Great disc for all, easy to control. This is my go to driver when there is no snow on the ground (mines white..) The stamp says it all, "stable control driver for accurate shots". I love this disc, If you throw in the woods and want to win all the CTP's then get one of these discs, when we can buy them again, buy at least 2 for yourself and 1 for me :-).

Messi and Ronaldo would bow down to the almighty Striker.  It's flight flies through the sky like Clarence Seedorf's 100m wonder goal.  If you find one of these in the wild you must immediately not leave it as you will be cursed for eternity searching for an alternative in production.

There's one prodigy fairway I found that's similar but this flies different than the explorer or a teebird.  Much more accurate and flies very fast.

Very dependable fairway driver. I have two gold line 174g, one Domey and one flat. The domey one is quite over stable I would give it 8,4,-0.25,3 flight ratings. This is my favorite one for consistent shots with healthy late fade in the 300 to 360ft range. This one does very well in a head wind and always fades for a flat release for me no matter what. I use this one the most. The flat one is much straighter I would give it 8,4,-0.75,2 flight ratings. This one covers all my fairway turnover and straight hyper flip to flat shots that need to finish with little or no fade. Being less stable it also does great with tailwind. Really a great point and shoot discs. So while there is inconsistency in the mold between flat vs domey, I see this as a positive in my case since it means a single mold can cover most my fairway needs. The mold has a great feel in hand which always give me the confidence to make accurate shot by controlling release angle and snap. Would highly recommend trying this disc, especially the domey ones for more advanced players. Accuracy is top notch with this disc!  For reference to my observed flight numbers my distance with high speed drivers is around the 400ft mark.

First off, I'm a little surprised that this disc doesn't get more attention from the Trilogy pros. There is nothing poor about this disc at all. I found it to be a pretty consistent fairway driver. If I really cranked on this guy it would stand up into a fade just for a split second but I never once had any problem with this thing being "flippy". I consider it like the pre-cursor to the Explorer, or almost more like a Saint Pro kind of deal. While it may be more flashy to throw Saint Pros and Explorers, there is nothing wrong with this disc at all! The only, and I'm really nit picking here, thing that I can see why they even needed to re-try this disc is because it doesn't quite have as much glide as the other L64 discs are known for. But still, this thing can eat up ground consistently. Oldie but still a goodie. Long live the striker!

Three stars instead of five because this disc is totally different now. Older GL runs were money. Any of the ones you see with the LE stamp are worth getting. Later runs are not the same disc, its noticeable if you hold an old one next to a new one, you'll notice a difference on the top part of the rim. The older GL ones have a nice predictable flight pattern, and are great for when you need distance in a tight space. The newer ones are much more understable.

This was one of my favorite s turn drivers that i really do miss. Need to get another one of them asap. These glide super long in the air and was a great anhyzer disk for me. Good overall feel all around the disk.

After reading some reviews I think I can now explain why my experience with the Striker does not match the flight characteristics, apparently an inconsistent mold. Mine is not quite as overstable as my firebird, but it is way more overstable than I was expecting. It is a 169g GL.

The Striker is a good disc, but not impressive. While its flight ratings are technically very similar to the Saint, my Opto Line striker seems far more overstable. This driver is better than most discs, but compared with the Saint, has no reason to stay in my bag.

My favorite Latitude fairway driver, it's got amazing distance potential. It does have a consistency issue from run to run though. The early runs were very overstable, almost Firebird overstable. They've run the course of going from super overstable to pretty much neutral in it's flight path. A sure fire way to judge the stability is dome and parting line height of the disc. The Gold Line tends to be a straighter flying disc out of the box with less fade and good glide. The Opto's tend to have a decent fade at the end of their flight. I carry three at any given time.

My GL striker will never leave my bag. It's the only disc I can throw on an anny release and it'll hold for 350+ feet. Seriously weirds people out when I do this, but it's an incredibly fun disc; however, I will say that different runs of the striker have very different flight paths. Mine happens to be fairly overstable, while others I've thrown have been very straight shooters and can't handle that kind of anny line.
