The River Pro is a new control driver from Latitude 64. Like the River, the River Pro is a larger diameter disc with lots of glide. It differs from the original River by being a more stable disc. This disc fills in a 'Teebird like' fairway driver section for Trilogy's line up.

best plastic for those with high arm speed, they start out overstable and then beat in to dead straight. I've had one in opto plastic and its been in my bag for 3 years and its still my go to fairway driver. I've had one ace with this disc and i cant recommend it enough if you have the arm speed for it. low arm speed players will love the predictable fade at the end. pick one up you will be surprised by the reliability

Why is this disc. Why, why, why, why, why? The River, it must be said, is an absolute masterpiece. It will fly five hundred miles and IT will fly five hundred more but this should never have been attempted to be replicated. No chance. The description provided here on Infinite says it fits the TeeBird line. It really should say 'Just buy a TeeBird.' Also, seriously, I don't think its just me anymore. Why is every disc here so flippy? At least from L 64 (Besides the Ballista, Missilen, Explorer, and Raketen (Which I thought was more overstable then the Missilen)) There's nothing wrong with that, or at least there wouldn't be if it were labeled as advertised. Also, we need to talk about the elephant in the room. If you've thrown the River, you know the best thing about it. It's not really a secret, and almost obvious. The glide. Uuuuuugggghhhhh the gliiiiiiiiide. The glide in this disc is the cool side of the pillow in the middle of the night. French fries with barbecue sauce. Chatting up a goth girl at a dive bar. One of the little pleasures in life that no one takes advantage of. But no, L 64 had to take something that was perfectly fine and take it to a lake to tell it about the rabbits, George. The River Pro: the spoiled step brother who demands to come to your parties and tries to get you to buy it cigarettes. The River Pro: the disc golf equivalent of McDonalds hot dogs. The River Pro: the fat former pro wrestler who name drops Vince McMahon even though he only met him in passing.

ME: Mom can we stop at get a Latitude 64 River?

MOM: We have a Latitude 64 River at home.

The Latitude 64 River at home: The River Pro.

There are millions of better options that for these stats.

PROS: There are negative amounts of pros, if you skipped to this part please read the review.

    CONS: Innumerable.

I bought this disc accidentally instead of a classic river but was pretty happy with what I got. It flies true to the flight path in calm conditions or with a tailwind but in anything other than calm conditions I couldn't trust putting any extra power on it or it turned over and didn't come back. I eventually lost it and while looking for it found a star teebird that flies the same line and outclasses it completely. It can handle arm speed and fights the wind so much better. Unless you are a trilogy player/sponsored by Lat 64, just buy a teebird

If you like the original River and the way it feels and flies, I suggest you give this a try. It is essentially a faster, more stable version of the other disc. I have found this to be a bit more overstable than I would have hoped, but it is still very useful especially considering how much I like the slower version. It will hold all angles well for me and the 172 gram disc is not too hard to throw for someone with my arm speed. The gold line plastic feels really nice in this mold as well. The reason I do not give this 5 stars is because the other River is what I lean on more than this and only find myself reaching for this when I know the slower one cannot make it that far. Nonetheless, this is a quality disc and I think fans of the River should at least give this a try.

River Pro is a more (over)stable River, it will fill a slot in my bag. Feels like a Teebird that's a bit more over stable than the River itself. The 1.8mm rim feels good in hand and Goldline grip makes this a go to forehand flyer.
