Great driver for advanced players with a good arm. These have become my staple distance driver in my bag. I've owned a total of 6 of these, and I currently bag 4, opto x glimmer, opto, special edition, and gold line. 4 in the bag is probably a little excessive but I find the mold so versatile. These start out very over stable but all but the opto x break in to be straight, neutral drivers for 400ft power shots. Domey gold line glass blown open stamp is my favorite for distance bombs as it has enough turn and glide to release flat or slight hyzer and get full flex flight. Comparably flat gold line I used to own was considerably less stable, when beaten in, like a slightly more stable flow or trespass with a more abrupt fade. One thing to note is if there is flashing on new disc (extra plastic flap on bottom inside rim from manufacturing process) this makes the disc so much more over stable. Two of my 6 had major flashing. My flat gold line with flashing was actually my most overstable out of the box, opto-x level overstable. When the flashing was removed it completely changed the flight instantly to be straighter. So be aware of that. Apart from some and flashing and dome differences, I find gold line and special edition to be very similar in flight. Opto isn't too much different but with slightly more low speed fade. My pop top opto-x glimmer is very overstable, and to me flies like a high speed xxx with no high speed turn at all. All in all a great mold. Very controllable for any angle in the 400ft range, excluding the overstable opto-x which is always going to fight into hyzer. Would highly recommend if you have the arm for it. Just remember flatter is less stable with this mold and buy accordingly for your preference. I don't have a strong forehand game so everything I mentioned is for RHBH throws.
