The Latitude 64 Macana originally debuted as part of the players pack in the 2015 Trilogy Challenge. This beaded putt-and-approach disc is a superb driving putter and has been described as a slightly more shallow Dagger. This is a straight, stable putter that glides well and can handle a decent amount of power.

Zero Medium is the perfect plastic blend between soft and hard. This plastic is very grippy, but firm enough to provide a consistent solid release.

Reviewing in zero medium plastic- The Macana is a great putter that deserves more praise imo. It is very comfortable in the hand and flies nice and straight with plenty of glide. My only issue with the medium plastic is that it is a bit too soft and rubbery, and it collects dirt easily. If they made this putter in the hard burst plastic like they do for Ricky Wysocki's signature dagger that would be ideal...

This disc is now my go-to putter in my bag. I threw Aviars, Wizards, Warlocks, Judges, and Daggers before I got to this beauty. I like how it is basically the same as my Daggers (which I still thoroughly enjoy) but just a bit more shallow. It makes me feel like I have more control over the path and shape of the putt versus the Dagger. I would recommend the Zero Medium blend for its durability while still retaining some of the tacky gummy characteristics of the Zero Soft blend.

If you don't believe me, just try it. Get one today. Serious. Do it. Tell me I'm wrong. This seems like the L64 answer to Gateway's Wizard. They feel and act very similar, and the Macana gets so little attention for it! For trilogy throwers, this is a must try. This made my bag both as an approach and a putt disc. With only 2 speed, it is very easy to throw and is controllable, and gets incredibly easy distance out of it with 5 glide. It will slide right under the basket for you and finish very flat thanks to a very slight and gradual dependable fade. For putting, look no where else for a really enjoyable disc to hit chains with. It takes nothing to get this thing to fly straight into the chains. One down side though, wind is it's enemy. It simply picks up and drops the disc out of the air with the glide that this disc has. But don't let that scare you away from using it at a wooded course, which it is perfect for!

The Macana receives very little attention amongst a stacked lineup of putters in the Trilogy lineup. The Macana to me feels like a cross between a judge and a dagger featuring a medium sized bead but a dagger like rim (sans the incredibly deep feel). My Macana's were all max weight: 1 Retro, 1 Zero hard, 1 Zero Medium and at one point I putt and threw these.

The Macana is a pretty interesting putter it feels like it is trying to do a little bit of everything and because of that it does everything pretty much okay. As far as putting goes: I prefer the Retro and Zero Medium plastics as they have a little more give in the hand and allow you sink your grips into the putter for a strong putt. The Zero hard was excellent for driving and approaching but did receive a bit of ground action on impact. As a putting putter the Macana has a very straight flight inside the circle with a minor fade, outside the circle the Macana stays reasonably straight but does have a little hookup at the end, The Macana in my mind favors the spin putt more than the pitch putt and grip wise I would confirm that since it was nearly impossible to get a comfortable grip. As a throwing putter the Macana has a pretty straight flight with a tiny fade for drives or a predictable and smooth fade for approaching the basket. Where the high glide number comes from is the throwing number, when spin putting it the disc carries well but probably no further than any of it's stablemates but when you throw this putter it's lofty nature becomes more apparent. It's reasonably flexible and as I mentioned pretty decent at most aspects of the short game.

The Macana for putting handles wind well on spin putts as a throwing putter it doesn't quite have enough stability for stronger headwinds so keep it low and use that glide.

The macana is pretty beginner friendly it is workable for putting and throwing but as I mentioned it probably would appeal to spin putters the most.

Overall the Macana is a pretty good disc, it's very versatile and as long as you like the grip can be a deadly accurate tool in your bag. You will want to pair it with something a little more stable for headwinds and longer approaches but overall 4/5 stars suits this disc well and is worth picking up if you get a chance to see one in person.

I am not a fan of this putter.  I think it's a better throwing putter than putting putter.  I just can't put my finger on why I don't like it, just the feel in my hand I guess?  I got it in the Trilogy Challenge like many others and I never earned a spot in my bag.  But I like putting with a neutral to slightly understable putter and this was more stable than I prefer.

As a putter this disc is very similar to the wizard. It keeps the line you put it on with a short, left fade at the end of flight. It won't sail past the basket when you miss a putt. I have used Wizard putters for years now and wanted to find a putter for my all-trilogy bag. The Macana is it.

As a driving putter I can put this disc on a hyzer, have it flip to flat, and carry out to 230 feet with a slight bit of turn and consistent fade. this disc is perfect for 160' tunnel shots, finesse upshots, and anytime you need the touch of a putter yet need a disc that won't turn and burn on long drives. (I've only ever had this thing turn and burn on me once!) this disc has replaced my putter (Wizard), my approach disc (Harp), and some of my shorter midranges.

For guys who love Wizards but want to throw Trilogy discs, this is it. I have tried almost every putter on the market and this one truly flies like a Wizard. As a putter it's a dart with little glide which does NOT mean it isn't good for long putts. It's actually ideal for longer putts because it is not easily effected by wind and won't take off sailing past the basket if a gust picks up mid-throw. This actually replaced the four Wizards I had in my bag! As a putter, I'd say this is the most underrated disc out there! It's fantastic.

As a driving putter this thing is perfect for 160' tunnel shots and dead straight upshots/approach shots. Do yourself a favor and buy one. Even if you don't like the beaded grip and feel of this disc as a putter, you'll still have a dead straight approach disc and hyzer flip tunnel shot disc in your bag!

This disc feels like the Daggers little brother. In fact, I putt with daggers but have 2 macana's in my practice basket. The macana still has a deeper rim than most putters but not as deep as the Dagger. It is beaded, and has a nice feel and grip in the retro/zero plastics. I can't say this putter is any better or wose than others as I feel it is a "feel thing" for players on what putter they use. With that said, this is one of those putters I would still feel comfortable using, and is easier to throw off the tee than the Dagger.
