First off I love the gauntlet so much, its SUPER underrated if you ask me. Its beaded rim is and tacky grippy surface overshadowed by the more popular market favorite Discraft Luna Trilogy but it deserves its own place on the podium as one of the best stable putters in a potential lineup. If you like the Luna and are as obsessed as the rest of the disc golf community, try the Gauntlet you will thank me.

Picked up a medium Gauntlet 2 weeks ago and I cannot stop throwing this disc. Hyzer, anhyzer, straight, however you release it, that is the flight you get. Also has a ton of glide I have been throwing the Gauntlet out to 300 with control, but it can certainly go further.

I would recommend this disc to any level of player.

The poor Gauntlet is so often overshadowed by the more popular Trilogy offerings like the Judge and the Dagger, but it deserves its own place on the podium as one of the best neutral putters in their lineup. If you have long fingers and the Judge just feels a bit shallow, try the Gauntlet. If you want more glide but the Dagger is too deep, try the Gauntlet. If you want a straight thrower and the Shield is too overstable, try the Gauntlet.

Profile: Medium depth with a bead.

Flight: I never really threw this one, only used it to putt with

Putting: Very neutral putting putter. If it wasn't for the bead it would be my main putter.  Very straight.

    Comparison: Aviar

GREAT putting putter. Very neutral.  My only complaint is I don't like beads and this is a beaded putter.  This could be a great beginner putter, even better than the Judge as I find this more understable and many people start off with too stable of a putter.

The Gauntlet is a pretty good all-around putter.  It glides well and didn't turn over much at all for me.  It feels solid, similar to a Wizard, and flies very straight.  It also can hold a nice hyzer line if you need a nice glidy putter drive.

    Great all around disc!

The Gauntlet is a solid putter from Latitude 64. I like the feel of it for both putting and driving and had a good success with both. For drives, the Guantlet is very straight with a mild degree of fade. This disc is stable enough that I didn't accidentally turn it over and have it drift off right.

Zero Medium plastic is about perfect for me for a putting putter. It's grippy enough, but not too soft that I feel I lose control.

The reason I give the Guantlet only three stars is because I can't figure out anything it does better than other putters out there. Does it make for a better putting putter than the Shield? No. Do I like it better for driving than I do the Judge? No. But I didn't dislike anything about the Gauntlet either. For me this is an average disc that does what its supposed to do.

Overall, the Guntlet is is a very good all purpose putt and approach disc. If you're a Trilogy Fan and haven't found the putter that works just right for you for either putting, approach shots or driving, the Guantlet is definitely worth considering.

This is a great all around beaded putter. I think this is a putter that a lot of Trilogy fans have been waiting for. It feels very comfortable in the hand, and is a very straight flyer. I regularly putt with Wizards, and this feels a lot like the Wizard in the hand. It flies a lot like one as well.

As far as Trilogy beaded putters, this is what has been missing for me. The Dagger was too deep, and the rim of the Macana was too rounded. This is a perfect balance between the two. I have a feeling this putter is going to be a big hit, and find a home in a lot of players bags!
