The Dagger was developed with the help of pro disc golfer Dave Feldberg to bring Latitude 64 a deep, beaded putter similar to the Discraft Challenger and Gateway Wizard. Compared with the Wizard, this disc is not quite as deep. The 1.5cm rim depth is .3cm less. The Dagger is designed to ‘float’ into the chains at lower speeds to minimize the probability of long comeback putts. This putt-and-approach disc should be a very straight flyer, perfect for lofting push putts.

Review is for Zero Soft, but I've thrown it in gold plastic as well. Its really probably a 2.5 star disc, but closer to 3 than 2.

Bottom Line: If you want a realllllly deep putter, that is kind of like a catch disc give it a shot. I could see it helping someone converting from ultimate.

I've never met anyone bagging these. I've only met a few people who have thrown them. Popularity isn't always a measure of a discs capability, but in this case I think it speaks true to the Dagger. Its does glide, and will set down where you want it. It doesn't perform poorly, but good luck getting a clean release. Based on that I would not recommend it for actual putting. The applications I would really recommend it for are transitioning from ultimate, or for those coasty approach shots that velcro in place.

I do recommend it for beginners especially those with a background in ultimate or catch. Don't expect this to stay in your bag forever.

Similar Discs: Sonic (kind of), PA4 (kind of), Fastback (Kind of). Ultimately its just a Dagger, and mostly its own thing. Maybe even a Condor would be like a much bigger version.

Notable Pro Use: None, not even the ones that helped develop it.

When i got this putter i had 2 Aviars one in DX and one in Champ both in the 150 range. I had tried a heavy Dagger out one night during club warmups and fell in love. It's my go to for mid range puts and windy days. I have everyone i know try this out at least once!
