The Cutlass is another of Latitude 64's cutting edge distance drivers. With good speed, good glide, and a predictable fade, it will be a sharp weapon on the disc golf course. For beginners, it will be very overstable thus a great disc to fight the wind. For players with more arm speed, this disc will be a fast, stable, and trustworthy driver - an anchor in any disc golf bag.

This is the true equivelent to a star destroyer from Trilogy in my opinion. The rim size (2.2), flight, and feel characteristics are very similar. I love this mold. They start off overstable and beat up to be absolute bombers. My go to reliable distance driver when throwing trilogy discs.

I purchased both a Gold Line and Opto Cutlass primarily as wind fighters.   Both are just a tick under max weight and so far I haven't noticed a difference in stability between them... they are perfectly overstable! The first throws I made with them were directly into a steady 15 mph wind with gusts 20 to 25. Thrown flat with max effort they went dead straight,  not a hint of turn and finished with a good hard fade to the right (LHBH).  With no wind, a tailwind, or powered down these fly like a faster Felon for me with a touch more glide which gives them some added utility... which is nice.  Distance wise,  the Cutlass isn't the longest driver in the bag, but it's dependability more than makes up for that. I would say that if you can consistently throw over 350 feet then the Cutlass is a good option... less than that, and it becomes a utility disc/meathook.  Bottom line, if you want a driver to rip on into the wind and not have it turn over, then give this a try!

This disk has become my most reliable forehand disc in my bag. It does the exact same thing every time you throw it. I was hoping to use it for overhand throws, and it does alright, but I much prefer my starfire for overhands.

But still, any time I have a long, straight tunnel, I reach for the Cutlass. This disc can handle a lot of power and not turn over.

I picked this up because I started over powering my thunderbird on forehand throws and getting crazy turn. This disc fixed that. I now use my thunderbird for hyzer forehand throws.

I think the speed might be slightly lower than advertized.

This is a great forehand disk, but I was hoping it would be more versatile than it is. I wanted to use this disc for overhand and big forehand hyzer throws, but this has not worked out very well for me. I use the Starfire for overhands and the Thunderbird for forehand hyzer throws. Good disc for long, straight, distance throws, though. Predictable fade and decent glide.

I currently own 3 of these all Gold Line 169. Ive had quite some time with one, the other two are newer, but they fly exactly the same.

First off, in the hand these discs, for as fast as they are, do not have an incredibly wide rim, in fact they are smaller than most discs of this speed category. To me it feels about the same width as a Discraft Surge, which is my go to distance driver and has been for a few years. Not too sharp of a wing, and definitely not shallow like a Scythe or Enforcer. The curve or scallop of the underside of the rim definitely is minor and doesn't "cut" into your fingers like some OS do. Gold line always has great grip and feel.

This disc is undoubtedly fast, out of the hand on a flat release it rips a straight line down the fairway, and the glide definitely helps carry it. This kind of caliber of disc you'd expect it to start stalling out early and fading, which it certainly can if your max distance is >300 ft. But if you give it the power it deserves it will hold for a long line and healthy fade.
This thing will also take a powerful flex shot, and you can bomb it pretty darn far.
When thrown into a headwind, this thing just keeps going straighter and straighter. Have no fear in ripping into this into some serious wind.
The fade is definitely a 3, if you undershoot it, it will saw off early and dive in, but it certainly is a workable fade.
The skip isnt as big as you'd thing, at least in my shots that I've thrown it.

    Pros:
    - Lightning fast with a very confortable rim
    - Excellent glide for its stability.
    - Workable for straight, hyzer and flex shots
    - Headwind defiant

    Cons:
    - Not a beginner friendly distance driver, but may be workable for an OS depandant driver for shorter distances.
    - Not really a con, but it does have a deeper rim for its speed, compared to what we've been seeing a lot of lately from everyone.
    - Doesnt come in weights under 167 (yet)

Overall this is a fantastic distance driver that is good on forehand, backhand, straight, flex, hyzer, wind shots. This is the kind of distance driver that you can keep multiple copies of and replace all your other distance drivers.
