Nice grip with the zero soft. It's not bad for teeing off I primarily use it for putting.

A Caltrop is a disc that can remain in your bag at any level for as long as possible. While the Harp, Slammer, and Zone are the usual suspects of "overstable putter" the Caltrop is the next step down in stability, but can still fight the wind really well. The thumbtrack takes a bit of getting used to, but once you do, it is a great disc for any wind needs or just for your everyday upshot. It has very poor glide, which for a putter can be a great thing if you aren't looking for something to jet. Also, the lip makes it hold onto the ground a bit better. Great for those island shots. The Zero Soft breaks in quickly, but the one I've had in my bag for two years still holds up in the wind, despite the beat up and waffled nature of it.

This is an amazing putter. I first got it to be my windy day putter but as my putting more changed and I found what I liked it has become more of a utility disc for me. I found myself throwing this more for upshots that needed to flex due to it having just enough stability to flex out of an upshot. This is where it really shines when I'm 100 ft or closer I can get a perfect flight out of it. I would also throw it on some downhill throws so the low glide works with the ground dropping and it doesn't hyzer out early. After hitting some trees and driving with it in zero soft its now one of my straightest discs in my bag when I throw it full power.

This disc is reminds me of a Harp just a little slower, a friend of mine throws both and he put it that way and I threw some Harps and saw what he meant. It seems to have a little more glide than the 2 rating they give it, I would go more for a 2.5 or a 3 is more accurate. Over all this is a great utility disc and a hug staple in my bag for wind and upshots and straight shots that I need to just fall out of the sky and not go far from where I was wanting it to go. Ratings for a fresh caltrop I would say is 2/3/0/2, mine being beat in and warped to no tomorrow and still awesome I would put it as 2/3/0/1-1.5.

This is my headwind putter and it works for that very well.  I don't use it in a tailwind.  Due to the low glide, I have to put more power behind it for that.  It can fade quickly depending on your putting style, and how much authority you put on it.  I like the zero soft because it sits nicely with no roll which is what I want putting into a headwind.  Thumbtrack doesn't bother me, kinda like it on this disc.  I recommend to have some kind of headwind putter in your bag.

i usually putt with a lat 64 pure but had to try this disc. i am not a fan of a thick putter but some how this one is different its a little overstable but thats what makes it great, it curves right into chains at long distances ,very consistent especially on upshots.. i really don't even notice the thumb trac....its my new putter for a while...buy it, you wont regret it
