Great control driver. Good get out of trouble disc, easily controlled fairway driver. The opto g material has nice feel to it. If you have thrown it maybe give it a try!!

The Bryce is an interesting disc. When introduced to it, I was told it was like a TL. That said, the first time throwing it flat and hard it turned pretty quickly and didn’t come back (i.e., nothing like a TL). With that, I did some tinkering with the disc and found that it is actually a really nice roller disc out of the box. If you give it more height and throw it on an anny, it’ll set down on edge and roll for a long while. I should mention that this was happening around the time that I was just learning rollers. I feel like this is a very good tool to master that craft, especially when learning angles for throwing rollers. When powered down, the disc will have a very neutral flight, therefore being very beginner friendly. Maybe I got an anomaly of a Bryce, but who knows.

When I started out flicking this was the only driver I could get out straight with any distance. As my arm speed grew it started predictably turning and burning. Recently grabbed it out of my trunk to try hyzer flipping it and it was definitely the right choice. I hold the Bryce on a pretty steep hyzer and it can take the full rip that way and stand up to straight. The issue with flipping it is having too much hyzer and then it won’t hold the turn particularly well, but it’s still holding that flip over fairway driver slot down in my bag. A really nice beginner disc for hammering out mechanics before learning trickier shots.

I got this disc almost as soon as it came out because I was so excited to try Latitudes version of an overmold and I am so glad I did. The Bryce is not only a great flying disc but also a great looking disc. I can throw this on hyzer and it will flip over and give me a long flex back to the target line. The bryce is a little more understable than the numbers for me which means that it would be a good driver for someone who has a lower arm speed. The overmold feels great and doesn't seem to beat in quickly. I can usually get this disc to go 250'-275' which is pretty good for me. This disc definitely made me want to try out the other overmolds from Latitude

I used this disc to score the first, and so far only, Ace on the guarded  #4 at one of our local courses. This Bryce is beautiful on a Hyzer flip and holds the line like almost nothing else. It is more understable than the numbers for me, and I can easily overpower it if I try, but knowing it is a speed 9 and throwing it that way, you should have no problems. The plastic and design of this disc is impressive. This disc is the reason I am buying the rest of the over-mold design from Lat 64.

This disc will glide for days at low speeds and it goes straight with very little fade at the end. My arm speeds isn't the greatest but I threw this disc today roughly 300 feet without putting much effort into it.

If you turn it over too much than it will not come back but it does straighten out. The closest disc that I have that I can compare it to is my beat in Stalker with more glide.

My newest Favorite disc.  I took my Bryce out to the field and I now have thrown a disc the farthest I've thrown it (340 feet to be exact).  The Bryce will turn over but is stable enough to keep the flight for me.  I can even throw it into a head wind without it turning into a roller.  I throw the Bryce similarly to my Westside Seer but it seems to be more consistent and further.  I now bag the Bryce with my hatchet.  I keep the hatchet for tailwinds.

    Pros:

    • Goes a very far distance.
    • Stable enough to hold up in a minor head wind.
    • ?Easy to grip.
    • Stays in the air with some ridiculous glide.
    • Looks super cool.

    Cons:

    • Gets stable in a tailwind - Need to disc down to the Hatchet.
    • Can't seem to get a good grip for a forehand - I stick with the Seer for forehands.

Love this disc. Goes right where i want it almost every time. The only time it doesn't, its completely my fault.  Feels great in the hand and has very good grip.

The Bryce is a great introductory fairway driver in Latitude 64's overmold line. It is designed as a neutral driver with just enough stability to hold a straight line under respectable speeds. When thrown with too much speed, it does flips a bit too hard to the understable side, but that is because it is not designed as a high-speed distance driver. But when thrown at a lower speed it can be easily controlled for accuracy and consistent distances between 200 and 300 feet.

When introducing a flagship driver for a new line of discs, like these Opto-G overmolds, it is smart to make the disc accessible to the majority of players who work within the realm of novice to intermediate. So the speed and stability are just right, and the glide gives it a little extra distance. New players can build up their speed and control with a disc like the Bryce, and then continue using the disc as a manageable fairway driver even as their skills increase.

I give the Bryce four stars because it is a quality product, but for my own purposes and when weighed against similar discs, I find that there were a lot of other discs that could be utilized in the same way with similar results. So, I only hold back that fifth star because the disc didn't make a case for itself as a replacement for anything currently in my bag. I guess I'm just in a picky mood on this one.

I love understable discs and throw almost everything with a hyzer release.  If the disc doesn't have enough high speed turn for me, then it just hyzers out and doesn't go very far for me. Most MVP discs don't flip up for me with backhand throws, they are just too stable, but unlike the similar speed double mold MVP drivers, the Bryce does flip up and is is excellent for backhand throws that flip up, turn slightly to the right, and then glide the distance before a slight fade at the end of the flight. The disc is stable enough that it doesn't flip over and aimlessly fly out of control for me. I like the feel of the GoldLine rim and the clear Opto plastic looks great. While I'm not sure if there really is any advantage of having the double mold, this is a solid overall disc that I would happily bag and perform well with.

    Flippy In A Good Way

I got to throw the Bryce a few times today, and of the newly released overmolds from Lat64, this was my friends favorite. Its pretty flat, and feels comfortable in the hand. Grabbing it in a power grip, it just feels like it is going to zip out of your hand: and it does!

In flight, it starts its turn right out of the hand. Unless you roll you wrist, it wont flip all the way over. This turn and the typical Latitude glide gives it some great distance and it does have some moderate fade. Not enough fade to finish back on line though; with proper speed it will always finish right thrown RHBH. It hyzer flips wonderfully, holding a laser beam straight line for at least 300 feet (for me) before a soft fade. The fade of the Bryce is never enough to spike in.

Both my friend and I threw some rollers with the Bryce, and it rolls very well. It is pretty sensitive to ground angle, and works best for rollers that need to hit the ground quick: rainbow rollers are not advised with the Bryce. The Gold Line rim looks great and holds up well, where the Opto flight plate is grippy and durable as heck. The weight is evenly distributed on these overmolds, not like MVP discs. There's no Gyro effect, but its still a good glidey understable driver.
