The Blitz is one of Latitude 64's super-overstable discs. This disc is very slim (1.6 cm tall) and is described as “a faster version of the XXX on Steroids”. This golf disc is only recommended for disc golfers with cannon arms and ultra powerful snaps. Discs this powerful need to come in strong plastic. Latitude 64's Opto Line is as good as it gets. This durable blend will hold its form and maintain flight characteristics through hundreds of rounds of disc golf. The Blitz is available in weights from 170-176 grams.

Awesome disc. A true meathook and faster than my Max's. Easy to trust this one, hard to find. If you ever do find one, pay whatever you have to and bag this baby immediately.

I bought this disc in intisipation that it would be a good 1st disc to start for backhand being a 100% forearm thrower. But it is very hard to turn over to get max distance. So of course I had to try it forearm and it is insane! Love the feel of it and is easy to control. Great for forearm but wouldn't recommend for backhand.

Opto 172. This disc is one that I simply bought becuase it is out of production and wanted atleast one. For me this disc, it will not be in my bag. I have other discs that I like better for an overstable distance driver (Giant, World, Enforcer). I do not get as much distance with the Blitz because of the glide only being a 3. Even if I put it flat or an anny release it will not go very far. Also not the best in wind. Just better discs out there for stronger arms. For a beginner, I guess could be a good start driver but a beginner should go with a slower disc more glide as a starter. Kind of a disc that is for players trying to get there speed up that is kind of forgiving for being overstable.

The Opto are far more stable then the GL and the GL is deffinately going to get you more distance out of the box. The rim is plus mold style and has quite a step on the wing that many find uncomfortable. I have found the odd wing to be the reason this disc sort of rolls in the air more then it fades(toss one to see). Blitz is a bomber. Another exceptional thing about Blitz is that is doesn't like to skip!

I'm told Blitz is great for overhand throws and although I do not plan to throw it that way I think it is stable enough.
