The Beetle is unlike any other disc Latitude 64 has released. It has the shape and feel of an old-school flying disc, yet it will work just as well as any upshot disc on a modern disc golf course. It is a high-glide, easy-to-throw disc, and works wonderfully as a throw-and-catch disc off the course. The Beetle will let you throw impressive "short game" trick shots. Enhance your general technique by incorporating the Beetle into your daily practice sessions.

Know what this disc is before you buy it. It will not be a go-to disc in your bag, but will definitely have its benefits. When thrown with too much power, it will appear to be very understable.

My preferred use for this disc is beyond jump-putt range, but too close for a throw: 60-100is feet. Release on hyzer with a strong wrist flick, and the Beetle will pop up to flat and just keep pushing straight as in slow motion.

As many before me have mentioned, this is also a great catch disc.

Find me on YouTube at Molenny Disc Golf. i will be posting a Beetle Only round in the near future!

I do not use this disc regularly during rounds. I keep this disc for the one time every 2 or 3 rounds where you are trapped and have no reach back or follow through, And to play catch with for warm ups. That being said this disx is amazing. The few times i ever have needed ti go to this disc to get out of jail it never fails me. Begginer friendly especially if that beginner is used to ultimate frisbee. Can discs have negative fade because thrown with any power this disc just glide right and never even thinks about anything remotely left

Not using it as a putting putter anymore because it's ricocheted out of the basket one too many times. Still use it for low ceiling putts and get-out-of-trouble shots, though! Still wish they made this in the 175 gram range.

This has become my putter for everything under 60 feet or so. All it needs is a flick of the wrist and it sails dead-straight wherever I've pointed. I've filtered through probably 7 or 8 putters, always looking for a disc that truly goes straight. I've only been playing a few years, but it's never made sense to me why we add more variables than necessary to something so simple. I mean, the baskets right there. How can I hit the center? Gone are the days of worrying about fade, just-the-right loft, sometimes wind, etc.

With the Beetle, I remove all those factors and simply snake-strike directly into the middle of the basket. I can generate enough speed to keep it straight, even in moderate winds. I can make shots just under low hanging branches that were previously layups.

Yes, there will be times when I miss and it sails past, but it doesn't go as far as you'd think, and it lands flat, rarely rolls, and is usually an easy toss-in or maybe a slight challenger. And occasionally the Beetle hits the edge of the chains and the glide ricochets it out, but the putts I sink now which I couldn't have previously more than make up for it.

Plus, it's just so much more fun going for it!

This disc is one of the most unique discs currently on the market. Most players will think of and review understable discs as 'Beginner Friendly', and although I tend to agree most times, this disc is not the most friendly. The Beetle requires a lot of touch to fly well for both an experienced player or a new player, but it can fly great if thrown well.

If I could give a negative fade rating I would, this disc essentially turns with a -.5 at its low speed (fade). I have used this disc for very unique situations, its hard to describe these situations but honestly it has opened up possibilities in those times where I think 'I don't know what to throw here'.

A funny example that explains what this disc does is throwing it on a downhill, I threw on slight hyzer with zero power (seriously) and it very slowly turned to flat then over cause it gained speed relative to its glide factor! Quite amazing particularly if you don't flick on short shots.
