Latitude 64's Anchor is an overstable, dependable midrange. This disc feels comfortable backhand and forehand. This disc is much like a beadless, less overstable companion to the Justice.

Love this disc.  Didn't know anything about it until I got one (Opto Glimmer) in the Royal Box iii.  It is an excellent overstable midrange.  I never quite connected with the Anvil but still needed something more overstable than a a Buzzz or Rocx3.  To me, it's like a longer Zone.  Crazy predictable, wind fighter, feels great.

The anchor is an incredibly reliable overstable mid range. This disc is not for all skill levels because it will just dump out for you if you can not get it up to speed. I really love the anchor because the bead feels really nice when you are throwing into a strong wind or for a hyzer approach shot. I found that my two most consistent throws were a hyzer shot or if the wind picked up I could throw the anchor on a few different lines and get some results. I am not the biggest fan of throwing the anchor off of the tee because it will usually fade pretty quickly for me out of the hand unless I put it on a good amount of anhyzer or really rip on it. But for an approach disc, this is a beauty to have in your bag. I love the consistent release I seem to get out of my anchor and I have found that the bead feels nice for extra control. Do not think you will just pick up the anchor and it will fly dead straight for you without spending some time to learn the flight and if you do not have the right armspeed.

Opto/Opto Moonshine plastics. I absolutely love this disc. It is definitely not a disc for everyone though as it is a beefy deep dish mid range that is fairly overstable and has a thick bead (close to but less of a bead than a Comet). I have had and still carry multiple of this disc but changed how I use them. Initially I got them as a meaty mid range for forehand shots and have beat them into great finesse shots where I need reliable control and predictable fade. I think for a beginner this disc is a forgiving mid range to learn forehand shots with; at an advanced level this disc loves to be thrown with power on so many lines and is a great all purpose midrange for tricky wooded course.

I picked up an Anchor to fill the gap between a Pine and a Justice and according to inbound and the flight numbers this disc should have done it.  Thrown forehand it flies straight without any fade. I would expect an x.x.0.3 to fly straight forehand and fade at least a little.  The anchor disappointed and I'll be trying a Bard and Suspect for this spot in my bag.  The Anvil fills this gap well but I am really looking for a speed 5 disc and the Anvil comes up a little short. .

If you enjoy deep rimmed and sharply beaded mids, you might enjoy this disc. But the only disc that I've found to be less comfortable in my hand is the Gateway Prophecy or a Discraft Comet.

The flight was very nice though. Not quite as overstable as I was hoping, but still reliable while not being a meat hook. I could see someone throwing this in a baseline plastic and working in several to different stabilities... But this was wildly uncomfortable in my hand.

I have a extremely beat in BT Med Harp that doesn't quite fade like it used to and I needed a new overstable midrange, and I happened to come upon this at my local store.

172 G Opto Plastic, flies like advertised. Very resistant to turning, the feel in the hand is good overall. Stability wise, it's not extremely overstable like a justice and has some more glide than those extreme beefcake discs. However, it is a very nice, serviceable midrange that I'll pull out 2-3 times a round.  My favorite shot to throw with this disc is throwing it completely flat/slight anny  and watching it coast dead straight before fading back at the end. There's a myriad of over stable midranges out there, and this one is very dependable.

The Anchor: headwind fighter galore. Whatever you wanted in a stable/overstable midrange, this disc will do it. This was produced to compliment the compass, and I believe it fits that slot perfectly. In my opinion, it is most comparable to a Bard.

I was very disappointed with my anchor. I got the anchor expecting an overstable mid that would have no chance on flipping over but what I got was an EMac Truth.  The anchor I got was anything but stable and I found it to be disappointingly straight. I have seen other people throw the anchor and it works but I have tried two and have even gotten a second opinion and it seems that twice I got a bad disc. I think that if I were able to get a good run of Anchor it would be a great mid and one that I would really love but the two that I have are just not stable enough. Generally I will stay away from a mold if there are lots of inconsistencies and differences in flight and that is what happened with the Anchor. I wasn't super sad because there are lots of other discs that will do what I want but I was hoping this would have come out better. I might try another one just to make sure that I'm not missing out but if the next one is the same as my other two then I'll probably try an anvil.

I have gone the rounds with different over-stable mids, trying to find the one that suits me. After throwing many different ones, it came down to this and the harp, and in the end the Anchor won out. I enjoy the bead and profile of the disc, and it seams to fit in my hand better than the harp. It is has a predictable flight line, and will hold up in most any condition. Defiantly a staple in my bag.

I like the Anchor. It feels great in the hand in Opto plastic, and stays pretty reliable to the flight numbers. It has been in and out of my bag since the release due to the fact that the overstable midrange market is so crowded. Most of my buddies carry a Verdict instead of this disc.

For me, the anchor is slightly less stable than a MD4 or RocX3. It fits the small gap in between those an an EMAC Truth. As such, it is in and out of my bag.

The anchor is a disc that I think will be great for certain individuals, but not for everybody. The stability in it is great, its nice to have a midrange you can send out that you know will be fading hard. In the trilogy line I had already found that disc, and I found that the anchor just did not have what it took to replace the verdict.

For me there was just too much going against the anchor when I compared it to other discs. The first thing that I did not like was the rim. It has a very large bead when compared to the midranges that I like, and it just never felt right to me. The rim actually feels to me a lot like a Roc3, which I also did not care for. The other thing I didn't like about the anchor was how domey the disc was. To me, it just added to the discomfort of the disc in my hand and I never felt like I was getting a good release with this disc, even when I was using a fan grip. The last thing I did not care for was the glide of the disc. If even a little wind got under the disc it was overshooting your target by quite a bit. It just wasn't a disc that I felt was right for me and will be sticking to the verdict

I recently tested the Anchor and really enjoyed throwing it. I was throwing a 176g Opto in calm and slightly windy conditions. My first impression is that the Anchor is a great disc. If I didn't have other similar discs I already bagged (Verdict), I would have been a lot more excited to throw this and probably bagged it right away. I think it fills a really important mid-range slot and if you haven't gotten anything in your bag yet, check out the Anchor!

I was comparing the Verdict and Anchor on a lot of similar shots and the Verdict came out on top for me. The Verdict feels a little better in my hand and it flies great. The Anchor feels a little deeper and seems to have a little more glide, which I personally don't want for that type of disc. I want it to cut through the wind, the Anchor was a little bouncy and even flipped a few times into a light headwind.

I was hoping the Anchor would be a little more stable than it is; I heard it was supposed to be in between a Verdict and Justice and it isn't nearly stable enough. The rim also has a slightly sharper feel than other similar mids, which probably attributes to how deep it feels for me. If you are looking for a stable mid-range with great glide then definitely check out the Anchor.

The Anchor is awesome. I'd say it's Latitude's version of a Verdict, but maybe slightly less stable. I throw a Verdict a lot, so the Anchor had a familiar flight. On a flat release, it flies nice and straight without turning over. It's fade kicks in but the glide really helps extend it's distance. I'd say this is a perfect mid for those 300' hyzer shots that are out of reach for a Justice, but not quite far enough for an overstable fairway.

Since I have a Verdict, I may not bag this right away, but I really do like the feel of it and look forward to comparing it more closely with my Verdict and other mids. It's definitely a solid mid.

The Anchor is an overstable mid-range disc that can be very useful for shorter drives where a disc is needed to make a long, steady turn. When thrown with power, it holds a line nicely, but will eventually want to fade. It differs from other overstable mid-range discs like the Justice or even a Buzzz OS, because those discs will hold a straight line, and then dump hard once they lose velocity, with very little glide. I found the Anchor to have fairly good glide, thus drawing out the fade over a longer distance. So, if you want an overstable disc that carries further with a drawn-out curved pattern instead of tilting and falling, give the Anchor a try. It might be a bit too much for beginners, but works well as an easily controlled overstable mid.

This disc is called the anchor for a reason. It pretty much has the stability of an anchor and is not going to float away in the breeze. The anchor is one of the more overstable midranges out there, it's no Justice, and actually glides a little bit, but this disc is not going to turn over in a headwind.

For my purposes, the Anchor doesn't have a place in my bag. While I love overstable midranges, this one just doesn't seem to have a very practical purpose. When I throw overstable mids, I like them to just dump out of the sky (The Justice) the anchor, fades, and then glides, and keeps fading so I found it more difficult to control for the hyzer shots that I wanted to land iin the right place.

For forehand throws I like a really flat disc, and the Anchor is pretty domey so isn't my favorite as a forehand midrange either. The Anchor just isn't a disc for me.
