The Malm's rim fit perfect in my hand- which made me give it a try. Comparable rim to most 10 speeds, but with a rounded edge that releases smooth. The disc isn't flat, but has a slight dome to give it closer to 5 glide- which holds up to wind well in my experience so far. While not the most comfortable for forehands (due to dome) it did hold the line well without being pushed by the wind. Fade is gradual and not as harsh as a PD, so distance is still possible with the Malm! This is what I was hoping for in flight, so I am pleased with it.

I plan to bag this as a stable compliment to the Construct (TSA).

The Malm was quite surprising in how far it goes. I love watching it fly on backhands and getting much more distance than anticipated. It's not a utility disc with 4glide, it's higher. It is definitely a distance driver, that will not turn over on me.

Great addition to the Kasta lineup. I got this disc, because I thought it was really fun to say "your Malm" so many times in a round.

In terms of flight. I agree with everyone else that this is less stable and glidier than the numbers would suggest. I was throwing this agains't a Roman and a PD and found that both of those discs wouldn't go as far and had more fade on them. Excellent disc for Kastaplast fans as I can see these becoming workhorses over time.

Got a Malm this last week as I have been looking for a reliable OS 10 speed to complement the neutral trail but not quite as OS as the Roman. The Malm is IT!! It is like a 10 speed teebird, dead straight with a forward pushing gradual fade for accurate and reliable 375 - 400ft shots. Don't let the "4 glide" fool you, this disc has WAY more glide than that ... Numbers are closer to 10 6 0 2.  Fantastic release that will probably fly under the radar, but if you're a fan of the Trail and want an OS complement. Pick up a Malm.

LOVE the Malm! Picked this up at my local shop the other day and did not disappoint on the first day out with it. Feels amazing for both backhand and forehand throws and performs exceptionally well on both. The numbers suggest a much more overstable disc, which to a degree is true, but it is not overstable enough that you can't get some nice full flights out of it. Fights headwind great (played this first on an open field park course with some decent wind), but also was able to get some nice S-curve shots with little wind or slight tailwind throws. Comparitvely, I would say this is like a beat-in Guld out of the box with more ability to shape shots. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking to get an all-around workhorse disc that can be used in just about any scenario. Kastaplast lovers like myself need to bag this one. Nailed it on this disc.
