Extremely proud to own a viper. If you want a disc that says, "I'm going left no matter how you throw me", then this is the one you want. You can throw it flat to get it around trees or to get a skip, or throw it anhyzer to get giant flex shots. This disc wants to go left the moment it leaves your hard. Good luck finding something this ridiculously overstable from Innova. The only drawback is that the rim might be tricky for some people to grip. Overall, a great utility disc to add to your bag.

This disc is from when Innova made disc that were the same design but different diameters. It is from the Whippet Scorpion Viper family. Same disc different diameters. Vipers are the best trick disc fairway driver ever designed. The diameter makes it a forgiving disc with a bad release. They are just as good headwind driver as they are tailwind driver. I get the same distance with a viper as a Tee Bird. The same fade. The only difference is a Viper doesn't turn as much as a Tee Bird. In practice I really don't get fade on a viper if I throw it flat, because I'm throwing it at Tee Bird speed. You can throw this on an anny into a 30 mph headwind and when it quits spinning it levels out and fades forward. UD's or tomatoes,  whatever you call it when you throw the did with top facing ground, work great with this disc. Excellent roller disc especially in DX plastic. I only started throwing Tee Birds and Kraits because I couldn't get a Viper in champion plastic. Now I'm getting one. I'm so happy. This disc is great for downhill shots. I can throw this disc downhill farther than a Tee Bird, even though I get the same distance with both discs on flat ground. Many say a Tee Bird is the standard but in reality the Viper is the standard. I think the glide is higher than rated.
