As someone who has struggled to throw thunderbirds, the SL was the answer I had been looking for. 167g Pro SL was a quickly beat in to be my first "flip to flat" bomber driver for an easy 300+ shot. Cannot recommend the SL enough for a "go-to" distance driver if 11-12 speeds are just too much for your arm.

    Disc: 169g Pro SL

Feel: I personally like the Pro plastic, I call it discount Star. It is very durable and grippy and Innova is right, it glides FOREVER. The rim is very small, I was able to get ahold of it very easily and get my arm to that speed.

Flight: This was the second driver that I got after a Valkyrie. Basically a laser straight flight. Minimal turn, minor fade, tons of glide. You can forehand it but I would say that this disc excels in backhand. It is not a wind fighter, and I didn't have the most success when my arm started getting stronger as I found I needed to put it on more and more hyzer to keep it from turning over.

Conclusion/Similarities: I actually compared this disc to an Undertaker and they, in my opinion, flew the exact same. Similar to the old Discmania CD (in fact I believe they are the same). Unfortunately, when I finally was able to start throwing Teebirds this disc lost a place in my bag, but I would keep it in my "beginner bag" for friends. Additionally, these are hard to find aside from the pro shop for x-outs.(3/4)

From my understanding, though this mold is no longer produced by Innova as the SL, the Infinite Discs Aztec is supposedly the same exact mold. If you are ever looking for an SL, check out the Aztec. It is a great driver that has very little left-to-right movement. I love throwing it down long tunnels when a 7 speed won't quite reach. I highly recommend an SL or an Aztec.
