This disc is a must for all beginners, it is great for forehand and backhand shots and will hold any line you are looking to throw. This disc is really good at being able to give distance to newer players compared to other midranges on the market. The one thing that I don't care for that is no problem for most players is the depth of the rim, it just feels a little odd to me, but not a big deal at all.

The R-Pro Skeeter was my first disc.

This has to be the most beginner friendly disc on the market. It flies very straight and is super good at compensating for bad form. The grip in R-Pro is helpful for both your shots, and for the disc to grip the green. The versatility of this disc makes it an all-in-one driver, midrange, and putter. The Skeeter is still the disc I give to my friends to start them off today, and if I had to play a round with just one disc, it would be a Skeeter!

One helluva disc. I discovered this thing by accident when I found one in a used bin. I was trying to replace a Shark that I had just lost. I don't agree that it's one of the straightest flyers out there, but it's a damn good disc. Out of my hand, it will fly dead straight, but always has a little Hyzer at the end. The one I bought is the R-Pro Skeeter. I can throw this disc without a power grip on it, and it will damn near out fly all drivers in my bag. It holds very predictable lines, and I actually had to back off a bit on secondary shots a bit, because I was over throwing baskets with it. It's always in my bag, and I'm glad that I stumbled across this disc.

My dad bought one of these as his first midrange after watching me throw my Roc to great effect. He could never find consistency with it, and gave it to me after about a month. I bagged it for one round, and promptly gave it to a friend that didn't have many discs. I found it to be way to domey for a comfortable grip, and extremely finicky on top of that. Put too much on it and it turns over. Put too little on it and it just doesn't make it to the basket. If you need an upshot that's in the Skeeter's range, save yourself some trouble and grab a putter instead.

I was rather unimpressed with my R-Pro Skeeter. I found it to be dead straight if you went easy on it, but much too flippy if you gave it some muscle. I simply didn't find it reliable. In my opinion, midranges should be able to take a little more power without turning over. If they can't, I would much rather throw a putt and approach disc with more accuracy. I ended up trading my Skeeter for a Buzzz, and that did wonders for my game. I'd recommend looking another direction for your midrange needs.
