This should really be the mid in innova's starter pack (vs the overstable shark). This disc in dx is very forgiving and allows even weaker arms beautiful, full shot shapes even in heavier weights. I've been playing for a year, usually drive forehand but when my flick is letting me down I can throw this off the tee and feel good about taking a big chunk of the fairway every time. For my more intermediate/expert friends who have thrown it, they comment on how comfortable the grip is and how effortless it is to throw big hyzer flips.

My only critique is the flight numbers. The 5 glide seems a bit high, I would say 4 is closer to the truth but it could be my run. I also think the fade is closer to 0 as this thing rarely finishes anything other than straight with a single shorts skip.

Get it in DX, bang it up a bit and this thing will be effortless for hyzerflips.

My very first disc I owned, and a pretty good one at that. Extremely beginner friendly for anyone learning to throw a disc flat without it rolling over. Basically the stingray's brother. Holds the lines you throw which can be a blessing or a curse depending on how confident you are with your release. You can learn a lot with this disc as it does tend to be a bit understable so you can slowly work up those hyzers. Pretty glidey depending on the wind conditions. I would recommend this to a beginner in DX plastic if you are on a budget. You can use it as your first driver, mid-range, and even putter if you can only buy one disc.

The Manta is an understable midrange disc from Innova. This disc is going to be a great addition to a new player's bag. This disc easy easy to control and shape shots with without requiring much power. It is a nice disc for teaching form, as it goes where you throw it. More advanced players are probably going to stay away from this disc, and look for more stable options.
