Looking for a straight flying golf disc? It doesn’t get better than the Innova Mako. The Mako is well known for its straight-flying, straight-finishing flight path. This is the fastest flying disc that offers both a 0 turn and 0 glide rating. The super-stable Mako will fly how you want it to. If you throw it level, this disc will go straight with very little fade. If you throw it at an anhyzer angle, it will stay turned over. Throw it hyzer and the Mako will curve to the left at the degree of the angle. This disc is so stable its flight characteristics are consistent no matter how hard you throw it.

I love this disc, and basically use it for one thing and one thing only: straight approach shots-  a task at which it excels.  It doesn't turn, doesn't fade, doesn't care.  It just leaves your hand and goes in a straight line until it stops, usually directly under the basket.  Get it max weight and it doesn't care about a breeze either.  Ultra straight is underselling how straight it is.

I recommend star plastic for it, the hand feel and grip with it on this disc is immaculate.

Absolutely love this disc for up shots. The star plastic is great, plenty of grip and nice feel in the hand especially in a mid range. I can give this thing a nice amount of power on a flat release and lands with dead on accuracy nearly every time. Holds up decent in the wind and even great going from open field to woods without much adjustment. I have another midrange for super stable applications such as a spike hyzer or flex shot but this is my go to straight point and shoot disc. I haven't thrown a Buzzz yet but so far this is my favorite most consistent mid range. Ratings seems pretty accurate but I would give it a 5 on speed.

By far, the most straightest flying discs I own. They do exactly what they are supposed to do. For a dead on frozen rope straight shot, they will never be beat.

The straightest flying disc I own. This disc was such a confidence booster when I was just starting out. If you are a beginner and really want to see your shots fly straight, then this is the disc you want. The star plastic definitely keeps the flight path true.

A star Mako should be in anyone's bag who wants to throw an easy laser-straight shot. Put this thing on an anny and it will hold it to the ground. Same with a hyzer. Tell this disc what you want it to do, and it will do it with ease. I can not stress how useful this disc is when faced with a tunnel shot or tight straight gap you need to hit. The plastic and rim depth just feel like perfection to me. I haven't hit chains with it yet, but I've hit basket with it on more than one occasion.

This is a pretty stable straight flying disc as long as you can hold a line on it for the most part.I do own and dont use it often though I tend to use my shark or ROC instead but all in all its a great disc.Especially for beginners.

I've been throwing a 180g glow champ mako for quite a while now and I don't know if I've found a disc as special as this one.  This summer I hit a field ace from about 100 ft with this bad boy and I hit the basket off the teepad just the other week at my home course.  This disc has proven to be so predictable and dead straight that its hard to imagine myself ever playing without it.  I love how I can get this disc to go where I want (forehand or backhand) everyday I play the game.  If you want a straight disc that's forgiving and does what you want, than this is a great pick.

Have been using this mako star 180 for a few weeks now and i am really liking it..it is hard to get use to throwing a disc right were you want it to go, flies like a putter only longer, great tool for he tunnel holes and long tight approach shots, I will probably order a mako 3 also...nice disc

Fantastic disk! When I first started playing I was given 2 disks by a friend. This was one of them and it help me learn my form pretty quick. Once I started getting the hang of the game I could throw this sucker straight 9/10. I would recommend this disk to some people who are quick learners or some people transferring from playing frisbee. The one I started with was a Star plastic weighing in at 171 I believe. So by one in star and break that sucker in and throw that perfect linear line.

Straight, straight, straight. This disc is somewhat of an anomaly in the disc world to me. I have never met a disc that just wants to go straight in the beginning, middle, then end of the flight, until the Mako. Confession: I do not own this disc but one of my discing buddies does and I borrowed it for about 4 weeks. It was a 170g Star Mako. Also a part of this confession is that I will probably not own this disc in the future, here is why: First off I have become quite accustomed to relying on the fade that a mid range offers. I have trained my mind and body to always aim slightly to the right (I'm a RHBH thrower) and let the disc pull itself over while it fades. While throwing this disc I would usually end up far to the right (exactly where I threw it) and often undershooting my goal. In that vein this disc did not have the glide I expected from it. It throws much like an Ultimate disc would but it's disc golf sized. I'm sure many people (my friend included) will find a great use for this disc, but as for me I will stick with my Recycled Fuse or Buzzz as I am more accustomed to their flights and fades. But if you really want a disc that will fly dead straight, this one is for you.

I have a first run Mako in Star plastic it is pretty understable for a midrange. I can throw it straight and have a nice s-curve line.

I bought a star mako last year after DFL'g a local tournament (yes that's dead freakin last) My discs were all hyzering out since all my local courses are tree lined, it just made for one frustrating round .. I needed something that I could throw straight. that wouldn't turn or fade at all. the mako is that disc. it goes where you throw it. put some hyzer on it and it will fade slightly but this disc will draw a straight line from where you release it to the basket.. (or it will go exactly where you just threw it) if a mako goes off in a random direction, it's your release and not the disc that did it. I tend to use it for shots around 250 feet or under. this mid-range has become my favorite tight technical course go to disc.

This disc is awesome. Its got a shorter flight compared to other midranges, sort of like a long distance putter. Great for dead straight shots. I certainly reccomend it.

When I first threw this disc, I didn't like it much. I didn't get any distance out of it, and it didn't do what I expected. I decided to use it for a full round anyway, and it ended up working well for me. I don't have room for it in my bag right now, but if I use it again and like it the same, I may make room.
