This is my favorite all time disc. This is my go-to disc. I drive with it. I approach with it. I absolutely love it!!!

Get it in STAR! I've not tried the echo star, but star in max weight is absolutely amazing.

    The good:

    1) It goes really, really, really straight. Just aim for chains and you should be pretty close.

    2) You can shape it, and it will hold whatever line you give it to the ground.

    3) Precision, precision, precision!

    4) I throw a select few discs 400 ft... most holes are not that long. Powering up or down, I throw it 275-325.

    Cons:

    1) it can handle 5mph winds in any direction, anything more than that (even in a tailwind) will mess with this disc

    2) If you throw over 450ft it will get a little flippy on you. Still an amazing approach disc.

    3) It will show major form issues. For beginners, try a DX leopard or an opto diamond, but after a year or so, you should get one for your bag.

Again, this disc is amazing. I've bought more copies of this than any other disc and cannot recommend it highly enough (recommended with reservations for starting out and the top 1% big arm beasts)

I have a 175 gram in regular star plastic. I have the MAKO and the MAKO3, they fly similar but I am partial to the regular MAKO. These fly strait and hardly have any fade. I love them open approach shots. They don't take much of an arm to get them to perform well and they glide great. Get ya one!!

1st Run Star 180g. This is like the only disc that feels like a true stability of 0. Crush it hard on a straight line and it will hold and sit for 300-325ft. Ride a smooth hyzer where other discs will fade and die.  Long sweeping turns where other discs will dive to rollers or flex back out. Only thing this disc can't do are flex shots.

Production run mako are horrible. They're domey and harder fade. Fly more similar to Sharks.

Not beginner friendly. You need good form to throw this.
