Anything that floats is useful since a few of my local courses have water-close baskets and a few that are on inclines that make roll-aways from errant putts possible sinkers if they get enough momentum. So, buoyancy aside it feels like an Aviar3 in how it flies but with more glide. Holds lines well, fades smoothly, perhaps more of a 3 fade than 2, IMO. The R-Pro plastic is grippy on the hand but seems slippery with minimal moisture. This has become one of my bagged putters.. I have 4 I carry for different things but the Hydra is the one I'd use if I had to pick one. However, I will say the only thing I haven't tried with it yet is driving it. However I've started using it in place of my Roc3s on shots 60-120 feet.

I originally bought this disc as a new player playing a course with multiple waters-edge pins.  While the idea of a floating disc gave me a touch more confidence, the absurd rim thickness of this putter negated any positive from the floating.  It feels very unlike any other putter I've thrown, and the mental hurdle made it something that didn't stay in my bag for long at all.
