    Pro Details

Innova Pro Line uses a special blend of plastics that provide unique qualities for each disc model. The different blends of Pro Line plastic produce discs with a wide range of rigidity from extremely soft to firm and stiff.

Pro plastic is more durable than DX, and provides a better grip than Champion Plastic. Discs in pro plastic tend to be slightly more understable than counterparts of the same mold in other premium plastic blends.

Greetings! You have found yet another disc in my bag. Read the riddle at the end to locate the next disc in my bag. But first, the review.

Yeehaw, this disc goes far! I achieved my farthest ever through on flat ground with this john, (393 feet, thanks for asking) and I am constantly awed at how much this disc glides. even as an 852 rated player, I can get this disc to go o so far. It has a rounded edge, which gives it a very comfortable hand feel, and also is a fabulous roller disc.

Next disc: This disc is an Innova 13 speed art, a necessity, like it's electrical counterpart.

Great Driver for the masses! The Gorgon is what most amateurs should be bagging in this slot. They can either get great distance, or an awesome drifting right shot that turns over, maybe a roller disc too. The mold is great! I'll give Innova that. I am not stoked on Innova's plastic recently, and their customer service is quite poor. I likely won't be ordering from them directly. I'll stick with Infinite on that one. I do look forward to trying the Gorgon in different plastics. This could be my extra flippy Trail type disc, however the Trail will be hard to kick out. They are similar discs, but also very different. Hand feel is much different for sure. And Innova's plastic is very very inconsistent. On Monday it's great, come Wednesday it's horrible. Then on Friday it feels cheap. Sunday feels good again, and then we repeat the week like the monotony of a 9-5 Office Job.

As someone who touches 500' with my Emps (best distance driver out ther btw), the Gorgon is just too much fun to throw. It has a deeper in the hand feel than most 9-10 speeds so I can see some players feel as if this disc might not quite feel right. To me this has a very midrange like depth to it, which I found to lend extra control when powering down.

This is great for rollers for bigger arms like myself. I had a hard time getting it past 450' in the air, simply because it would turn too fast and cutroll early. It's still super fun to power down and still get that straight flight with a super minimal fade. Again, the depth really making me feel like I could control this on a variety of lines. This was great for me to hyzer flip with my wimpy sidearm. All in all, this is such a fun disc to throw for all arm speeds.

Picked up Gorgons in both Pro(-2 turn) and GStar(-3 turn) both 167g. Throwing RHBH, the Pro was the winner for my intermediate arm right out of the box. With just a touch of hyzer and good nose angle, it consistently flips up to flat, turns slightly, and has a minimal finish, all the while pushing forward nicely for some of the best backhand distance I've thrown. The GStar is much more understable and required a heavy hyzer release to not flip over completely and was much more sporadic for me.  Highly reccomended and is the only > 9 speed I bag.

Very sensitive to torque. I would definitely recommend this disc to anyone with a slower arm speed or someone new to disc golf.
