This is a great disc. Beat in star destroyer, I mean sweet spot destroyer, not broken... right off the shelf, but faster (I think). Maxed it around 530 ft (6’2” 36 years old, so the young gun big arms should be able to smoke this thing.) I trust it more than a glow colossus, which have been hard to find. For anyone who carries several destroyers, you know what a bummer it is to lose one and have to break in a new one. I couldn’t believe the distance gain from the colossus vs a destroyer, and was definitely surprised to see the firestorm pass it. Maybe it’s just me, but I doubt ittttt.

The Firestorm is not a speed 14, at least in my opinion. It flew more like a speed 12. I could get it up to speed pretty well and it would hold pretty straight before fading out at the end of the flight. I found it to fly a lot like a Discmania DD. It is a nice disc, but there are so many other distance driver options out there that I prefer.

Others have correctly pointed out that the listed numbers are not quite right.  It flies a little slower than the listed 14 speed and mine doesn't quite fade out like a 3 at the end.  Although Innova offers many other (and often more popular) driver options, the Firestorm has served me well as a long distance forehand option.

When I need straight, long distance with a forehand finish, I go for this disc.  Since it's not as overstable as the factory specs would make you think, a good hard forehand throw will keep this on a straight line for a good amount of distance before it reliable fades back at the end.  It's found a home in my bag for that purpose, not exactly a driver I use for a typical backhand shot.

Yes the numbers are not accurate. I'd say for a short review that it's a faster wraith! Which I like

I'll agree with the previous review. Innova marketed the Firestorm as 14, 4, 0, 3. I'd call it more like 13, 4, -2, 3. Its a fine straight driver, but it doesn't stand out from an already crowded Innova group of speed 12-14 drivers that do about the same thing (Destroyer, Teedevil, Boss, Colossus, Dominator, XCaliber). The Firestorm is fast and responds well to hard, flat throws and hyzerflips. It pops up flat and then tracks right a bit before fading hard. It flies about as well as any of the discs I mentioned above. Its an accurate disc and easy to throw. I was able to throw it low and flat about 420' numerous times.

The only reason I subtract a star from the Firestorm is that it doesn't fly as advertised. Other than that I was pleased with the performance and I feel it has use on the course. However, anyone looking for a 14 speed driver with no high speed turn will have to look elsewhere.

Not as overstable as they were hyped to be. Mine is brand new and can turn over if thrown flat and hard. I would compare it to a Star Boss.

Beat in I would say it is closer to a 13/4/-1/2

Far less of a meat hook than the numbers suggest, this disc was a bit of a disappointment for me. While not a bad disc in the least, it flew far more like a faster destroyer than say an ape or stiletto. I dunno man...

I bought my Firestorm yesterday, and I love it.  It flies more like a Shryke or a beat Destroyer than what the numbers suggest.  It hyper flips and carries right for a while and fades.  My arm speed generates about 400-425 ft of power, so I'm not sure how it'll fly for touring pros. Easily the longest disc in my bag, it overtook my destroyers and PD2s.
