Great disc. Gentle flip up and relabily fights back.  It's pretty glidey too which helps it carry pretty far.  If thrown on hyzer it will finish left if thrown flat it'll finish pretty straight

This is one of my favorite drivers of all time. I lost my last one but I plan to replace in the near future. It's definitely a disc that needs some consistent practice to work up the arm speed to maximize its effectiveness, but it's worth it. Even when your arm isn't at its maximum potential, you can still bomb this disc a long distance. It worked excellent backhand or forehand for me. It could be slightly unpredictable due to the high speed number, but it's the most reliable distance driver I've tried so far at the maximum end of the speed chart. Once you get the hang of this disc, you'll be knocking off whole strokes off your score in no time.

This disc really needs the mustard to over 400 but with the right S curve she can really go deep. its more glidy than most of my drivers so in a strong wind i will probably bag it for something with a 4 glide. to get the most out of this disc i would say its not for beginners however even at half power its still a very accurate midrange/hybrid with an aggressive fade at lower speeds which ive used for sharp doglegs where i need a skip

I generally would tell anyone that a speed over 5-6 is probably not suitable for beginners but as you progress you will quickly find you want faster and faster speeds. this is an example of that for me. i just started getting full distances and flexes in 10-12 speeds and i wanted to get even faster. well i struggled with the vette for a long while trying to throw it but I think i can honestly say I either never got it or it doesn't fly quite as advertised. I found it never handled forehands well at all and as my backhand speed increased when i did throw this disc i was getting much more distance with other slower speed discs. maybe i just dont have the arm speed, form or whatever but that is how i can give my rating

Overall this is a good disc. It is pretty straight, but has a surprising amount of fade. I usually throw emperors and get a nice straight flight with a consistent fade at the end. With the corvette I found it to be a little more finnicky to throw. It had a little more turn followed by a similar amount of fade. Might be better for shaping flights than I other discs, but for me personally I tend to use other discs in its place. Nothing bad to say, but just not a slot I'm looking to fill in my bag. Plenty of friends bag it with success though. Quality, however is great and the star plastic, as always, feels great.

When I first got this disc, I was a little skeptical. Having only recently returned to the sport, I had never been able to throw a fast speed disc RHBH without it instantly fading to the left. Well, right off the bat, that was sort of my experience with this disc. However, I have worked on my form in recent months and have found that this disc FLIES. I would say the ratings are very accurate as it is a pretty dang stable driver. It has become my go-to for long mostly straight shots. I just bombed my all time furthest shot with this guy, 382 feet. My disc is a Star 174g and I love it. Not the disc to choose if you are just starting at the sport but I'd say if you have been playing for a bit and want to try out a high speed disc, give this one a shot. Just know that it takes some real arm.

When my son lost my starter set distance driver, I went online to find a replacement or two. Not fully understanding the meaning of speed ratings yet, I picked up two 14-speeds -- including the Corvette (164g). Not sure I really have the arm speed for a brand new Corvette, but it still flew pretty well for me from the outset, particularly into the wind as that helped lend an increased relative air speed to my throws and kept it flying straight longer; in fact, when throwing into a wind, this might actually give me my best distance. Its stability and dependable flight pattern have made me use it in more settings than just normal distance driver scenarios -- sometimes just for an intentional huge skip at the end toward (or hopefully into) a basket or around obstacles . The Star plastic has proven to make this disc very resilient even after lots of use through 3-4 seasons. It has only recently started to show signs of having become less stable. I have never yet been very good (at least with any consistency) at forehand throws, but as I've started to practice them a bit, the Corvette has thus far proven to be the easiest one for me to succeed with.

I have a 166g star Corvette that was my longest distance driver at one point. It was easy to hyzer flip and I felt like I could get easy distance out of it. Now that its beat in it is understandable and if thrown on a hyzer will flip over to anhyzer and not come back at the end.

This disc bombs. Flys further than any.disc I've ever thrown. Literally has taken my Sherrifs out of my bag. The rim is a little bulkly but who cares when it flys over 400 ft!

    RHBH

Hyser- pops up flat with a reliable finish left

Slight Hyser- S-turn max distance with a neutral finish

Flat- turn right and will fight out at the end of the flight

Anhyser- I've never annyed this discs but its gonna go right and hold that line.

It is a real 14 speed so it will take a good amount of arm speed to manipulate this disc. Not recommended for beginners. Not really ideal for head wind but could do OK if it is not a very seasoned disc.

If you thrown hard. This disc will get you incredible distance.

My Corvette is in Star plastic and is 173 grams. It is the only 14-speed disc in my bag, and from the outset, I was shocked at how easy it was to throw. If you throw it flat (BHRH), it will sail down the fairway in a beautiful S-turn and get crazy distance. It is one of my straightest distance drivers, and it just goes forever. It almost always keeps turning if you throw it on an anhyzer angle. When thrown on a hyzer, it will hold its line and skip way to the left. The flight of this disc is so beautiful. I wouldn't recommend throwing into a headwind, though.

I am primarily a backhand player, but I can get incredible results throwing the Corvette with a forehand. Its flat profile makes it super comfortable in hand, and it follows a similar flight pattern as the backhand.

Overall, I would say that the Corvette is for intermediate to advanced players looking for a far and straight flying disc.

(170g) This a very interesting disc. In the rounds I've used it, or when I've used it in my field work, I find it to fly almost exactly as its flight numbers suggest. I think its more of a -1.5 to -2.0 turn and has a fade more akin to a destroyer or wraith once it hits the ground at speed. It will stay on it's intended line for much longer than you'd think, however, because of the high speed rating it can be challenging to execute the throw correctly if your form is not there yet. If the wind is strong enough, it renders this disc useless. It can also be challenging if you have smaller hands like me to get a good grip on the wide rim of this disc. I definitely say its a disc you should try once you're form has developed significantly. If you're a beginner, all this disc will do is fade out faster than any disc you've thrown before.

I've thrown Corvettes in Star and Champion. If you purchase a champ corvette, it flies nothing like this review or listed flight numbers. Champ corvettes feel a bit like Destroyers.
For Star Corvettes, this disc has had mostly forehand potential for me. It flies like a laser out of the hand and goes completely straight for 300+ feet. Then the disc loses speed, and fades hard. The skips that this disc generates on a flat hardscape are around 100 feet, no exaggeration. It is extreme.
But this is the result of a hard and near-perfectly flat forehand release thrown with a lot of power, and no one consistently does that. If you release on a forceful anhyzer, it will not pull out of that line. It doesn't have the stability. So the result, is that you don't see pro players throwing these discs, even though they're incredible, they're a disaster risk.
For backhand throws they do flip up to flat on a hyzer. But for long distance drives, it feels safer using a disc with more stability. On the field, I can't get a RHBH Corvette throw to go any farther than a Destroyer. I also can't reasonable predict where the Corvette will land!
Conclusion: if you throw perfect angles, in non windy conditions, the Star corvette might be a gem for you. It's a laser beam. If you are a mere mortal, this disc is edgy, and doesn't have the stability to correct for poor angle control.
Alternate recommendation for RHFH: Star Wraith. Slightly more stable, can be thrown on flat/hyzer/anhyzer angles and this disc likes to go straight regardless. Gets about the same distance as a Corvette. I prefer the Wraith for placement golf.

I have a love-hate relationship with this disc. It can be the furthest throwing disc in my bag or it could just set into a turn that it will never come out of. In other words you have to be extremely precise with your angles when throwing this disc, I would recommend trying it, mainly because I love buying discs haha. I do not bag this disc for my flippy driver, but instead bag an Enigma which I absolutely love.

Reviewing this disc as a 95% forehander (rhfh, except putting).

I throw max torque forehand on flat, anny, and hyzer lines. This disc responds to all three lines differently, offering multiple options on the throw.

On FLAT, this is my max distance air shot. but on full power forehand, I have to give it A LOT of room because it will ride the turn for a long time... that 6 glide will kept it sailing though and it will usually flatten out enough to get insane distance.

On ANNY, this is my max distance shot period. As a roller though... I have to throw the perfect angle at max power to get it, but I'm talking 300-350' distance before the roller hits the ground. Again though, give it some room for error, the speed and glide combined with the wrong wind can make it difficult to land right, which can also cause a lot of problems.

On Hyzer, this thing acts like it wants to flip but I lose a little torque and speed throwing full power hyzer forehand shots, so the 14 speed might be too much. It does flip up to flat, but inconsistently for me, making distance incredibly hard to gauge. I personally disc down if throwing a forehand hyzer shot, so I can't offer as strong of an opinion for this type of shot.

...overall, I give this disc 5 stars because it is the fastest 14 speed I've thrown, and the 6 glide is there too, along with a turn rating that is a good middle ground (-1, 2). If I had reviewed the disc on first try, I wouldn't have given it 5 stars, but this is a 14/6/-1/2 disc, don't expect ace runs right out of the gate.

After time, you might find yourself using this disc for shots that you can't get from any other disc in your bag, as if utility and distance came in one package.

I bought this as a driver before understanding how the nu,ber system worked. Naturally I cannot throw the Corvette well, though it is my 3rd longest throw (tied with the Daedalus behind my Blizzard Boss and DX Valkyrie). The disc wants to go, but to go you need some serious power. If not provided enough power, this disc doesn't fade, it literally stops in its tracks and spikes. Unless you have one strong throw, it won't fly how it should.

That said, my friend who is even less experienced than me uses this disc more than any other. He can't get huge distance with it, but he likes manipulating the sharp spike at lower speeds to weave around obstacles. Not the way it was meant to be used, but worth mentioning.

I originally bought this disc with the intent of using it on long open holes to get maximum distance. I was really surprised after I threw it for the first few times to see how hard right it turned for me. I didn't think I had the arm speed to make a speed 14 disc turn right almost as much as a thrasher. My eyes were not playing tricks on me though. This disc turned right.

So I started releasing it on a sharp hyzer and it would flip up and zoom straight as an arrow and then fade a little to the left with a good skip at the end. This disc has become my go to disc for tight tunnel shots now. I am more accurate at hitting my lines for the tunnel shots when I use a hyzer release, so having a super fast driver that I can hyzer flip to flat, glide at a low height straight for 380ft, and get a skip at the end is crucial for my tunnel shot success.

I remember watching JOMEZ seeing these pros through straight as an arrow tunnel shots 400 ft and parking those shots in circle 1. Now I have that shot because of the corvette. There is this hole at one of my local courses that is a 390 foot tunnel shot that fades to the left at the end. I used to just play for PAR because I had no way to get to circle 1 with my drive. Since getting the corvette, I now seem to be getting in circle 2 80% of the time, and getting in circle 1 about 50% of the time.

I have a G-Star Corvette and I was a bit unsure when I first got it. Some friends had a Corvette in their bag so I decided to get one. This was one of my first 14 speed discs and I hadn't quite developed my power yet. Because of this I could never really get the full flight and it would fade on me quite a bit. I have recently dialed in my power and this is now my maximum distance driver and I can throw it 450 feet easy if I get the full flight. I can even get a late turn if I really rip on it. It is my go to disc now on a long open hole!

The the Corvette surprised me. I know I'm not able to throw a 14-speed properly. I have tried many others. And while there are a few others that are fun to throw, generally not consistent at all with those discs as I cannot throw them properly yet being so green to the sport.

With with that said, the Corvette is a marvelously well behaved disc in my experience for not pushing it to its limits. I have a 6'7 wingspan, so when I do pay attention to my form and am able to get some snap I can send this disc far down range. It has a nice gentle turn, and a predictable but not extreme fade. More finishing forward then just cutting hard. Harsh winds may change this for you, it did not like windy days at my local course. The 171g Star performed the best in the wind, but much better off with less glidey in those situations. In calm, 162g would sail forever.

I think this disc is pretty true to the flight numbers. I'm always skeptical of the flight numbers when there is only a difference of 2 or 3 between turn and fade (-1 turn, +2 fade) because that is kind of unnatural, at least for a high speed driver. Usually if it is turn resistant, you'll also have quite a bit of fade on it. And if you don't want a hard fade on it, you have to be able to control a somewhat flippy disc. The corvette is the first driver I've had that seems to defy this rule. I throw it forehand and can put a lot of juice on it and it will turn over slightly and hold that turn longer than most discs without turning too much. Then the fade out of it is gradual as the disc continues to push forward. Or I can throw it on a slight hyzer and it will hold the line for a big sweeping shot that gets a lot of distance without ever stalling out or fading hard at the end. I was getting max distance of 350-370 before I got the corvette, now I'm getting 400-420 on a good throw.

A Shryke that you can throw hard.  Still understable enough to glide forever without much of a hook but not nearly so eager to flip over and go rolling into the thorns.

This has a fairly delicate lip shape and the Star plastic isn't holding up well.

High speed slightly understable distance driver. Drivers in this slot tend to be very far fliers but with quite a bit of movement. The corvette actually holds a straight line pretty well for an understable distance driver. For me though, I prefer the Infinite Discs Pharoah in this slot just because I can get more consistent distance with it. The corvetter requires good arm speed and angle control to really maximize it's usefulness.

First, let's start by saying that I am a lower arm speed Intermediate player. Not to call my self out, but to really show you how usable this disc is for a lower arm speed player. I don't bag a lot of high speed distance drivers. I bag one Catalyst and one Octane from MVP which are both 13 speeds. I never dreamed I would find a workable 14 speed driver... but this is it. Most 14 speed drivers I have thrown will basically sail for only about 150' before they will start fighting back. The Corvette actually glides quite a bit more before it wants to come back which really surprised me. I was able to get this one out to a similar distance that I could get my go-to drivers out to. I would never recommend a 14 speed to a beginner, but you know how we are when we all start playing DG... we want the fastest speed possible. If I were approached by a beginner who absolutely would not settle for anything other than the highest speed they could get... this would be one of the discs I would recommend to them. This disc could be usable for almost all skill levels. I could even see pro's throwing this one as a good hyzer-flip to turnover disc. Super glidey and super workable. And of course we all know the Star plastic almost always feels outstanding. Do yourself a favor and try out a Corvette. Depending on your arm speed, this one is almost usable for everyone and could potentially hook you up with some more distance! The Corvette is currently my maximum distance driver, it's just a touch longer than my Discraft Crank, but the Corvette is definitely straighter with less fade. The Corvette is very fast and very straight but you have to have the arm to throw it otherwise it acts like a very overstable disc. I like it best for long drives on a straight line because it wants to hold that line. This is great when I get a straight flight right down the fairway, but it doesn't like to pull out of a turn so just a little too much anhyzer can lead to a shot from far in the weeds.I can release it pretty smoothly despite the thick rim, and that helps keep control of my long drives.

I don't mind the Corvette in a little bit of wind, it's still controllable but it has a ton of glide so I've had occasion where a slight gust sends it far off target. Best to throw it low.

It's also a good overhand disc. It's consistent and doesn't move laterally a whole lot on overhand throws.

very high speed disc, I can basically only get this up to speed to flight right with my forehand. But for that it's amazing. I have a lot of trouble controlling the throw speed of my flick because my motion and snap are so tied together they almost always come out at 85%+ . I will accidentally turn bosses over that are too light or not champion, so as a flick disc it's amazing at handling the power of the throw and flies almost straight for me with a predictable late fade that isn't too extreme. Basically if I'm not throwing this disc high, I will aim pretty close to the target and when it lands it will be right around it. Now my backhand isn't quite up to this speed yet, so for me its way too fast, but for my much taller or power thrower friends who use this, its for a max range control shot. Honestly if could handle power but wasn't quite so fast to do it, I would give it a 5, but because I'm limited to only my fastest throw to use it well, its a 4.3 out of 5 for me. Easily the most controllable of the speed 14's iv thrown so far.

This disc is a game changer for my RHFH.  It throws slightly understable for me, as it likes to flip up on a hyzer angle, and will also turn on a flat angle.  As for the speed it is confusing.  I don't have to throw this disc full speed to get it to glide, yet it flies way faster than any of my other forehand discs.  All in all, if you are looking to maximize your forehand distance, this is the disc for you.

P.S.  Terrible in headwinds, amazing in tailwinds.

I was just given this by my buddy and this thing bombs on a huge turnover line. Thrown flat and given enough air space it will glide forever on that anny line. I threw several 440' shots today and was very impressed with its glide. Like some others have said, it doesn't feel like a 14 speed, especially throwing it next to some other -1 turn discs at lower speeds. That being said it is a great tool for getting max distance if you aren't worried about accuracy. Thrown on hyzer it will flip up on a beautiful S-line flight. It's wide rim is perfect for massive skip shots as well.

Disc - 171 Innova Star Corvette

Feel - The Corvette has a very wide rim and is fairly shallow. The one I have has a flat top but I have heard of others being fairly domey. It feels good for both backhand and forehand shots. Star plastic is very durable and provides great grip.

Flight - The Corvette is an interesting disc. In my opinion it flies fairly similarly to a destroyer but just a bit faster. It definitely has a good amount of stability but not  too much. If thrown on a hyzer it will flip up to flat and ride for days with its great glide. This disc goes very far but just being a 14 speed disc it is a bit difficult for me to control and with my arm speed I feel that I can reach most holes that I play without throwing a total max distance shot so this disc didn't quite make my bag.

Overall - The corvette is a good disc if you are looking for a total max distance driver. If you already throw around 450 I'm not sure that this disc will do a lot for you other than give you another 10-20 ft but you could lose a bit of control.

Everyone wants that one disc in their hand that says it'll go far, so we want to truly crank it to see how far it will go. Look no further than the Corvette. It will definitely go far, but I don't have the arm to push it several hundred feet like others can. However, for a disc that is max speed, it won't cause max regret when you throw it. It actually can hold a decent line if your form is in check. So once you feel that you want to drive the fast and the furious discs, get in the driver seat of a corvette (I can't believe I just said that).

Although this disc is listed is a 14 speed, and flies like one, you do not need to have insane arm speed to throw this disc. On a good day, I can reach 400 feet. This disc is great for me as I can hyzer flip it, and this disc has SO MUCH GLIDE.

I would not recommend this disc to beginners; however, this disc could be a great disc as an introduction to distance drivers. It is not too overstable, but it is not flippy. When this disc starts to fade out, it does not dump, it just has a gentle fade while still pushing forward.

Overall, I would say the corvette is a great disc. A lot of players could use this disc in their bag as a very controllable long range shot. I would definitely recommend picking up a (star) corvette.

I won this disc from a giveaway and it ended up being a disc from a player pack from a tournament in my State. I do not throw too many distance drivers so I was not to keen on getting a distance driver. But I was surprised that I was able to get nice and long flights out of this disc without having an insanely fast armspeed. I usually throw drives around 325-350 and I could get this to those distances quite frequent and have a few push past those. I think that the corvette could be a workhorse distance drivers for people who like throwing super far and have the courses that allow for it. For myself I just found that it was not something I would need often enough to put in my bag and with the cool stamp I decided to hang it up. If I lived in a state that had more open courses that you need to bomb on I may think about pulling it off the wall or purchasing another one to fit in my bag for that max distance driver.

I ordered one of these support my Hypnosis stamp that is one of the finalists for the 2020 Stamp Wars. I loved how it turned out in black plastic with red foil stamp! It looks sweet!

This disc has surprised me! Let me start by saying this flys exactly like I thought my Destroyer would. It's more glidey, I can get a bit of turn out of it, and it gets about as much distance as my Shryke! This has quickly become my go to distance driver when I need a bit more reliable flight path than my Shryke as it is more stable, but not nearly as stable as my Destroyer or Zeus.

My only complaint about this disc is that I don't like drivers that are more domey on top and this one has as a bit of dome to it. The flatter the disc, the more I like it and feels like it's cutting through the air faster. All in all, I would highly recommend giving this disc a try. It's got a spot in my bag for sure and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I thought this disc was a little smaller rimmed than other discs that are in the 14 speed range. It has excellent glide, and feels like a Pharoah or a shryke, both in hand and in flight.

This is my all-time favorite disc. The high-speed release really values the turn, and it'll go FOREVER. It's a great full S turn. I think every player should have at least 1 high-speed driver. Obviously the "most needed" are ones that might be a bit slower, but - come on - we ALL want that speedy boi to send it for miles.

Look no further. You've found it.

When I first tried the Corvette I though it was a really overstable disc, but after playing with it for about a year, it's starting to feel like a slightly more overstable Shryke. Not the best disc for beginners or noodle arms.

The more I use this disc, the more I really enjoy it. Less flippy than a Shryke, possibly due to the 14 speed rating, but its flight is more comparable to a higher speed DDx by Discmania. In Gstar it is slightly more understable and the mold I have is very domey and flies like a higher speed Shryke. The Star mold I own might as well be a high speed DDx  with a slight turn followed by a harder fade. Very true to the numbers and can be thrown hard  with confidence on days when I am channeling my inner James Conrad on the tee pad. The advantage of using this disc is that it can be thrown confidently for low ceiling shots when more fade than turn is necessary while also being a perfect disc for wide open long holes that need a ton of glide and power to really reach out there and get to the basket. The high speed makes it useful for headwinds as well, rounding out this disc as an all around useful driver. I would not use this disc useless you plan on fully committing to the shot and doing your best to match the required 14 speed it demands.

This is basically just a faster shryke. It flies exactly the same, but is a little wider and lower profile. It feels better forehand to me than the shryke does. It is a little more unforgiving than the shryke because of the faster speed.

I have Star Corvette. The disc is unmistakably fast, I'm almost always surprised how far it traveled in such a short time. That being said, I find this disc to be very challenging to control.

Obviously you need to throw this disc fast for it to perform like it's numbers suggest. But with such a wide and heavy rim it takes a lot of force to launch this disc. I found that I was able to consistently get the disc up to speed, however I could not consistently maintain accuracy. Sometime the disc would have slight turn, other times I would get an immediate hook.

Most of the time, people throw disc that are too fast for them. There is nothing wrong with slower speed discs, I know players that can throw putters as far as I throw 9-speed discs. You don't want to sacrifice your form so that you can throw a fast disc.

If you have a strong arm and an open hole, this might get you max distance. But if you need any amount of accuracy, you should use a lower speed.

If you throw Shrykes and are looking for an overstable counterpart, this is the disc for you. This is a disc I have been looking for and they really did it. They made an overstable shryke. It is amazing. If thrown flat or with a little anny it will hold straight for a long time except you will get a reliable fade which the shryke sometimes lacks.

For slower arms this would make an excellent overstable disc if you are finding destroyers/wraiths too hard to throw.

I have two of these and it is a definite mainstay in my bag now after playing with them for a couple of months. When you step up to the tee and need that extra distance, this is the disc to reach for. My only wish is that it was just slightly more over-stable. Due to the under-stability, it does take a pretty precision release to get it on the perfect line. My favorite throw with this disc is one that calls for a RHBH hyzer flip when you can really feel the 14 speed, 6 glide of this beast of a disc. I'm getting more distance with this disc in my 30's than I used to get with Destroyers in my 20's. I would suggest that anyone should try this just for that pop of speed you feel when it leaves your hand.

Honestly, this disc has become a staple in my bag. At first I was a little reluctant to throw this disc because it's such a high speed and I'd expect it to be super over-stable for me, but in actuality, it might be one of the straightest flying distance drivers in my bag. I definitely use this disc when a need a straight penetrating shot, that might have a little bit of turn, and in most cases will fade out, unless thrown into a really strong headwind, downhill. I throw max weight on this disc. 175g

Based on what I'd read about the Corvette, I was expecting a driver somewhat like a Shryke, but with a tad bit more stability. I won't say I'm totally disappointed with this disc, but it didn't live up to my expectations.

The Corvette is lightning fast. Very legitimate speed 14 there. Compared to a Shryke or Colossus the Corvette feels flatter/sleeker, and faster. The disc gets downrange in a hurry for sure. This disc reminds me quite a bet of a Ballista Pro in terms of speed and overall flight.

I found the Corvette's glide to be somewhat lacking. Perhaps the sheer speed of the disc limits glide, but the Corvette had nowhere near the advertised 6 glide for me. I'd put it more like a solid 4.

Flat, hard throws would turn just a bit for me. I rate the Corvette at -1 for high speed turn. This is a power hungry disc. To see any turn you'll need nearly 400' of arm. Fade was a little dumpy and abrupt.

Overall, I didn't think the Corvette was much like a Shryke at all. Its flatter, faster, glides less, and fades harder. The Corvette is still very much capable of big distance, but not in the floaty, glidey manner that Shrykes are. This is a disc for long throwers. I wouldn't recommend this to beginners at all. A good driver for me, but I wish it glided better and didn't have such an abrupt fade.

With adequate power, this disc gives a perfect booming “S” and ends up straight ahead. I use it as a power forehand and am able to reach 400’ regularly. I imagine a backhand player could get similar results, but I don’t have the power.

I threw this disc 1494' on 80% power today. 167g, right to left wind downhill at Solitude hole 18. In both this lighter and max weight this disc is predictable. It's great because you can take some off and use a little flex line to still hit 450's no issue.

I have been holding off on writing this review for a few weeks now. My initial "Out of the box" throws were somewhat underwhelming, so I wanted to give it some time before giving my two bits. NOW, I love this disc. The Corvette, to me, feels like a slightly more stable Colossus. As opposed to the advertised "Big Brother Shryke".

Right now, I would say my max distance with the Corvette, has been around 415-430 feet. I haven't had too much field work with it so I don't have an accurate portrayal of distance yet.

I don't see the Corvette leaving my bag anytime soon, but I will admit, My Colossus or Dimension are still my go to discs off the tee.

NOTE: You really need to pump the Corvette out to get the intended flight. Anytime that I let off the gas on it, it will fade hard. On that note as well, It is a solid disc that has a very reliable fade for me.

USES: RHBH for anything straight with a left finish around 400ft.

RHFH: Straight shot that I need more distance than my Spark (Control Drivers) with a right finish (375-400).

Purchased 175g Star Corvette for big flicks. RHFH. Fieldwork: A dozen flicks. Worked with tail winds and a mild head wind. All went 350-420 ft. No turn and burns. Like a beefy Katana that wants to slide forward and left before its eventual fade. It made the bag.

Innova Corvette- Innova’s attempt to make a high speed disc with more stability than the Shryke. After testing it for a month I will say it is exactly as they advertised , I personally attempted to add a Shryke to my bag but found it a bit to under-stable for my preference. So I was excited about the Corvette. I tested a red star max weight version. I found that I was able in no wind to throw this disc farther than any other disc I have tested. I was able to make it Hyzer or flex depending on what angle I threw it on. Now I only have the one I tested , but I would give this disc an A rating.

Feedback from my testing group of players from 700-1000 ratings was very similar to my findings. At the slowest arm speeds it was an over-stable disc with a lot of skip action , as the arm speeds increased it began to straiten out a bit and became a great S curve distance disc for the average tournament player.

So overall this is a great add for any skill level and I am excited to see it perform on the tournament level.

The Corvette is hyped as the faster brother of the Shryke. Personally, I don't mind the wide rim since I've thrown a lot of wide-rim (high speed) drivers without any discomfort. In my personal testing I couldn't quite get the disc up to speed. I got it out to my average 350 distance, but it faded harder at that distance than it would have if I could push out to 400-450.  So, if you don't quite have the power to get it to that distance, expect it to play a little more overstable than the numbers might indicate. For my arm speed, I hand the speed 12 and 13 drivers better than some of these maximum speed discs. If you want a faster Shryke, then I think this one fits the bill.

I would not necessarily recommend a maximum speed disc like the Corvette to new players since they will likely not have the technique or power to get it up to speed. But I do recommend it for intermediate to advanced players who really want to push their distance limits and work on long flex shots.

Very fast, reliable fade and 6 glide! Wow this disc can really fly, through a couple over 450ft and there was a slight head wind. So this disc is easily in my opinion the farthest INNOVA disc ever made.

Thrown with a hyper, it flips up turns in for a long time and finishes. Needs a lot of space and air time but most 500ft throws need some room!

I have a 171 and a 172g but would recommend a lower weight for slower arm speed so you can get that right amount of rip to really see her shine.

This disc can be your best friend for max distance. Brand new I was able to consistently break 400 feet by throwing it side arm, something that I could rarely do with a destroyer. It is not as good as, say a destroyer, for windy play, but it is something that I immediately put in my bag for very long, relatively open holes.

The glide is a lie, no way this thing has 6 glide on it as mine is has a flatter top, but it doesn't need it. This thing is so fast it gets down the fairway in a hurry with a decent hook at the end. I'm not a huge arm but get can most distance drivers 350 - 400 ish pretty regularly, this thing goes 300 right now then hooks and hits with a decent skip. my current 14 speed "control" driver for windy shots lol.
