I picked up an x-out Star Caiman hoping to fill my midrange overstable slot and the Caiman did not disappoint! I can forehand and backhand it comfortably and with plenty of power and the thing wont turn much at all even at extreme angles. Those extreme anhyzer angles do produce some amazing flex lines though! The second it starts to slow down it fades out and gets down fast. I love the skip I can get from it. It feels a little bit like a brick in the hand but at least its comfortable.

If you're looking for an overstable mid that does what overstable mids ought to do while still flying a decent distance if you want it to, look no further!

Prior to buying my Caiman, I was using a BuzzzOS as an overstable midrange. I found on several holes that the BuzzzOS was simply too straight and not overstable enough; especially in a headwind, it would often turnover. So I went on a mission to find a more overstable midrange. Ultimately, the Caiman felt the best in my hand (nice and flat top) and seems to be overstable enough for even 15mph+ headwinds. It gives a reliable flight in any condition. The star plastic is durable but also very grippy. Very happy with this selection. I would caution beginners against using this disc as they likely will not be able to fully utilize it, but for intermediate or advanced players, this is a valuable addition to the bag.

I've only had the Star Caiman for a few days but I already love it. I started as a very forehand dominant player and continue to throw my upshots and shorter shots almost exclusively forehanded. This is the perfect disc for that! I throw a Ricky Pig as my primary upshot disc but needed something I could still trust but with a bit more speed. It is definitely overstable but for me that makes it even more controllable. I can't wait for the improvement this will make to my game!
