The DX Ace offers a tacky, low-profile feel that excels in grip and control, making it a reliable option for putting and approach work. As it beats in, the Innova DX Ace becomes slightly more understable and glidey, allowing players to cycle multiples for varied shot shapes while maintaining a clean, beadless release.

I initially purchased the Ace as more of a collector disc due to its out of production status, but after giving it a try I knew there was something to this disc. It has quickly overtaken the Aviar as my go-to putter. I'm new to disc golf, and my putting mechanics can be inconsistent at times. With the Aviar, I would tend to hyzer it out too much on occasion, missing my line. The Ace is a little more forgiving in that regard. It's a low profile putter (I would say somewhat similar to the Colt) that feels great in my hand. As an approach disc, this thing soars with ease. It flies relatively straight, slight drift right before a gentle fade at the end. I'm also able to put it on a nice hyzer line to the basket for putts beyond 25'. Knowing this disc is only produced in limited runs anymore, I stocked up on them after about a week of using it so I can continue using them for a long time to come.
