I got first Ace to date, today, with this disc.

With the hype of an ace out of the frame of the review, I sadly don't have much to compare this disc to. I didn't really throw many 7 speed classics when I first started. Maybe tried a Teebird once, threw a TL3 a few times but didn't bag it permanently. I threw understable/straight 7's like the Leopard3, Oracle, Guadalupe. I enjoyed jumping from 5-6 to 8-9 speed rather than keeping a stable 7 slot for some reason. My "Teebird" would be something like a Terra, Grunt or any driver fluffed with my beginner arm. I even abandoned my Fairway Disc from Innova because I (key word, my fault) turned it over/torqued on it too much.

I picked up this 5 Year Anniversary Exodus for the stamp alone and was determined it would turnover being a used disc, but very excited to try a more true 7 slot for once.

First course with it I was really surprised how easily it would flip up in the air even slightly drifting in Halo plastic! I do think it's over stable at the last third of flight, but I've seen harsher bites to the ground from 2/3 fade discs, so I think 2 fade even in Halo is more than fair. It feels like it lands nicely at that angle, 30-45° that doesn't play on the ground, just sits.

For the price, I can't recommend trying this enough, from beginner to advanced, it's a really really solid 7 speed that concentrates the speed category, not dilutes it.

    Understable/straight recommendation: Centurion (I-Blend)

More over stable recommendation: Huia (Glow, Atomic) or Glory (Royal plastic?)

I got this in Halo S-Blend and it was significantly more overstable than what is listed. However, I have a couple friends with I-Blend Exodus's and they seem to fly true to the numbers.

As a predominantly backhand thrower, the Halo S-Blend is my go-to for my developing forehand shot. It handles the torque well.

I threw this in wind and cold today and we have been spoiled this year by infinite discs. The s and metal flake glow blends have been my babies but unless you have allot of air space you don't use them for flex shots until today. It has the perfect amount of dome for flick and backhand as well. The grip is so good every time you grab it. So confident. They look great, and are as stable as the metal flake for sure but a better feel and grip. Great job and thank you guys!
