    Setting the record straight.

I got the swirly S-blen conqueror from the VIP store last year and it was not flying like the numbers suggested. It flew more like a destroyer 12/4.5/-1/3. It still turned slightly on backhand and a good bit on forehand. All that to say I wasnt impressed as someone who threw the sky rider and the pd2z i opted for not having it.

I read the reviews on halo and how people said the swirly is more stable than the halo. I got more discouraged about getting any conqueror. So i reached out on the FB page group and Eric Oakley was the first to answer my question. He told me which halo color to get (white interior/ blue rim) and im here to say ITS BACK in the bag. 12/4/0/4 out of the box for sure. Making my beat up halo big jerm slab look understable (at times)

colors matter, i knew that but EO was spot on. It will beat in nicely and to the point I want it.

I was looking for that overstable 12 speed bookend and decided to  try the Signature Halo James Protcor edition.  I'm really pleased with how this disc flies, I was a little concerned it would be an incredibly overstable brick, but the disc actually has very good glide and and a workable amount of stability.  The plastic feels great with good grip and a little give, and it has a big pop top dome.  The stamp and colors look great as well.

I've been throwing this disc for big hyzers, big flex shots, and also some forehand drives.  It fights the wind very well, and it's somewhat mellow during the high speed portion of its flight.  Meaning it will hold an anhyzer line for a little bit, it doesn't fight out of your hand immediately.  However it does have a very strong fade at the end of its flight, so I can trust the disc to work its way back to the center of the fairway when fighting out of a flex shot.  It also tends to finish with a big skip for some extra distance.  I am curious how this disc will fly when it beats in, if it develops some turn then it might become a real overstable bomber.  Great disc, not recommended for beginners.

The James Proctor signature conqueror has slightly less stability than the new swirly s-blend release. When thrown hard and flat it will go straight with a strong fade at the end of the flight. This is a great wind fighting disc and has a very reliable finish. I would not recommend for those with a slower arm speed unless they want a utility disc.

As a long time PD2 thower, the prospect of having this mold in new plastic that is readily available is awesome. The JP signature Halo S-blend is on the more mellow side of pd2's. It reminds me of some of the old stock runs of S-line. For context I have a higher armspeed (80+mph), but this run brand new out of the box flips slightly and pushes a long way before fading. I have to release it on hyzer otherwise it will turn for almost the entire flight before returning to flat. It has excellent forward push probably due to the dome. I will also say that this is one of the better-feeling runs of halo plastic that I've felt in a long time, solid give, and absolutely no blizzarding in the rim.

For reference, I throw 380-420' on a normal day. This is the headwind fighting distance driver I was looking for. The plastic for this run is softer than most halo discs and it has a nice dome to it. I can trust it in any wind to not turn over and provide reliable distance and finish. The colors and stamps for the Proctor Conqueror's came out fantastic and I'm definitely going to have to grab some backups. They fight out of a backhand anhyzer quite quickly and still provide some skip. I don't throw a ton of forehand and normally don't like forehanding domey discs, but the softer plastic makes the dome much less noticeable on forehand grip. I'd highly recommend it for intermediate players looking for that headwind distance driver or advanced and pros looking for a distance driver with predictable fade.

I bought a yellow/white and loved it so I bought 4 more blue/white. They had the same numbers for dome and stiffness but there is a slight difference in the amount of dome.

*NOTE* I only give 5 stars out to discs that I bag and throw actively. A 4-star disc is still great and may come in and out of the bag for me and I can see another player actively bagging it.

I am not the Boom Master that James Proctor is, but man these things go far! For reference, I can get this out to 400'-425' and I can get my flippy Emperors out to 450' every so often. I've been throwing mine for the past 2 weeks or so and man this thing is so reliable. Great for sweeping spike hyzers that you know will never flip on you. I'm sure other players will get some turn out of this disc, but for the rest of us mere mortals this is a disc that will always come back. This disc feels so comfortable in the hand and is amazing for both backhands and sidearms. A great addition to the Infinite Discs lineup. I am a fan!
