A great, straight flying fairway driver.  It has a touch less high speed stability, which is what makes it so controllable.  I use one for forehands through low ceilings or wooded shots where it needs to go straight a long ways then fade softly at the end.  The flat top feels nice in the hand for both backhand and forehand.  All in all one of my favorite releases this year.

The Marksman took me a second to get used to, but in the end it was a very reliable disc. First of all, the rim feels very nice. I always love a good 9 speed rim- very comfortable in the hand. The plastic is slick, just like champion, but feels great as well. Overall the grip left me thinking the disc is a little thick, just because it felt a bit chunky, but not too bad. It was still super easy to release.

Now, when I threw this disc it was at elevation, so maybe it was more stable than at Hyzer Bomb HQ, but I think the flight ratings are a little closer to 9, 5, 0, 2.5. It wasn't quite as straight shooting as I expected. It seemed to fade out sooner than I would have thought.

After I figured this out though, it was a very reliable shooter. I could throw it about 300 feet on every throw and know exactly where it was going to land. I almost just prefer throwing it on a hyzer on purpose because I know exactly how far it'll go every time. So I think the name Marksman is perfect, after all, because it was a very reliable disc. Just not as straight of a shooter as I thought.

Overall though, still a 5 star disc in my opinion. A nice new disc from Hyzer Bomb.
