The Voodoo is a straight flying stable putter made by Gateway. In premium Evolution plastic, the Voodoo has a completely unique feel. It is soft and almost sticky, especially for your thumb. The Gateway Voodoo is available in all the Gateway Putter blends including soft (which is actually pretty hard compared with soft putters made by other manufacturers), super soft, super stupid soft, and evolution.

This is the putter all other putters want to be. In firm it barely loses any stability, even if using it for a throwing putter. The plastic blend they use is excellent for all weather conditions as well. I hate soft discs because i feel like i spin it, it kinda crumples a little bit making it hard to be consistent. This plastic blend grabs the chains very very good. Some of my off the mark throws make it in anyway just due to the grabby ness of the plastic. I went thru a lot of putters thru my time playing disc golf and this is the one I landed on for in the circle and outside the circle. I throw this up to the pin maximum like 150 feet before i start reaching for a real throwing putter. It takes all the damage and keeps its stability, if you get it in firm plastic. Don't let the word firm fool you though, its like its soft on the outside, but somehow like a thin piece of something in the middle that just doesn't lose its rigidity. It's not really a popular putter, so i bought like 30 of them so i can putt for the rest of my life with them even if they go out of production. It would be nice if you bought some to help me keep them in production, just in case i have a season of losing a bunch of them.

The Voodoo is a more traditional feeling putter with a medium deep feel in hand, a rounded rim, and microbead, more akin to a Luna than an Aviar. It's hand feel is going to be similar to other older Gateway putters like the Wizard, Magic, and Warlock. The firm Voodo I got is a beautiful swirly smoke grey and doesn't have a lot of give, but is still soft and grippy on top. Sometimes the firm plastic can be really slick, so your mileage may vary. Off the tee, the 0/0 turn/fade really shines as this disc is STRAIGHT. It's also very straight for putting, even outside the circle. The one potential downside is that it doesn't glide as well as other putters, but I've been liking it a lot recently for keeping me honest and requiring a commited putt to go in. Great, underrated disc.

I use this putter as a driving putter. I more often use the harder plastics with this disc. It flips up really nicely for me even if I put heizer on it. And with speed it become more understable with a consistent turn.

Really nice putter. Very straight with a real small fade and I recommend this go in your bag if you like a putter that has a similar feel to the midrange the innova mako3. The Voodoo has a very rounded edge with a tiny bead. I would highly recommend this disc for any beginner in any plastic preferrably soft or SS.  The hemp plastic is really good too. Make sure to buy this disc depending on the weather since the heat can very much damage any plastic softer than SS.

Other than a smaller bead on the rim, I don't see a lot of difference between the Voodoo and Wizard.  This is the only Gateway putter I own in the firm plastic.  To be honest, I can't tell much difference between firm, soft and super soft.  To me the depth of the Voodoo feels more like a Dagger, which I love.  I use it for inside the circle putts along with a Wizard.
