This was the first mid-range driver I bought and I still have it! As a new player this disc definitely turned left for me, due to it being a higher speed for a mid-range. It's very beat in now, but I occasionally still bag it if I want a disc that I can throw 200 ft and have it fade left strong for me.

I'm going to say this, but don't take it the wrong way: This is just another gateway midrange. By that, I mean it is a very good disc. As advertised, it is a very straight disc. I've only thrown it a few times, and can describe it as follows: it is a little less fade than a warrior, a little more turn than a warrior, and a little more fade than an element. I'm just trying one out that I found before I get it back to the owner, but I can already tell what it does and will hold that information if I need it later.

The Scout is a super straight midrange. If you're looking for something that will always go straight and maybe a little understable this is your ticket. Power down and it will also hold that same straight line. The awesome thing is that it's also available in super light weights which is great for kids and new players in the sport. You can't go wrong with the scout and it won't be long till you find yourself buying another Gateway disc.
