The Gateway Ninja is a newer version of the old Ninja and was PDGA Approved (4/2017).

The rim has been downsized to fall within PDGA limitations, and a textured grip has been added to the top, outer edge of the disc for a unique feel and great control, even in wet conditions. It is still a sharp-edged distance driver, but not the quasi weapon it used to be.

Evolution Platinum is a fantastic ultra premium plastic blend by Gateway. The plastic offers a unique metallic shine that not only looks good, but it is also incredibly grippy and flexible (you can literally fold a Evo-P disc). This plastic blend is especially recommended for playing disc golf when it's cold outside.

The Ninja is a nice stable control driver from Gateway. The Ninja reminds me a lot of Innova's Orc. It really is very controllable, stable, and gets some nice distance. I would give it flight numbers of 10, 4, -1, 3. Brand new, the Ninja really held up to some decent winds, but it developed some noticeable turn as it seasoned. This just seemed to add to its distance potential. Brand new, this disc had some healthy fade, but I was still able to put it on a number of lines, and it really excelled at big flex shots. This is a nice addition to the Gateway lineup.
