The Karma is one of Gateway’s slightly overstable midrange discs with a wide diameter. This mid is more overstable than the Element, but less stable than the Warrior. This disc is great for windy conditions and sidearm throws.

    Disc - Suregrip karma

Feel - The karma is very shallow, has a small bead has a very flat top. If you dislike the feel of the innova roc or roc3 but want a similar flight, the karma is a great disc. This disc also feels fairly good for some forehands as well.

Flight - The karma is basically dead straight with a little fade. I really enjoy the flight of this disc. The numbers are way off in my opinion as it flies much more like a traditional mid 5 speed than a 7 speed but that should not matter too much.

Overall - the karma is a great mid but I believe they are either out of production or hardly made because I have not seen many at all.

This is another nice flier from Gateway. The Sure grip plastic is grippy but firm. This midrange was too shallow for me, which I didn't care for. Might be great if you like that for a midrange or even for a forehand. I only throw overstable discs FH so I moved on from this one myself.

Gateway seems to like making discs that come close to a Roc flight, and the Karma is one of these discs. It is straight with some decent fade at the end of the flight. It holds up to moderate winds, and you can throw it on a variety of lines. The Karma is a bit less stable than the Warrior, but they aren't far off. The plastic that I love on Gateway putters doesn't feel as great on this midrange, but that is probably more of an issue with me. If you like Rocs but want something from Gateway, the Karma is a disc to try.

The Karma is a great, super flat, straight flying midrange disc from Gateway. It's excellent and the wind and great for those longer approach shots.

The sure grip plastic is just that, extra grippy, and unlike some other midrange discs in other plastics, the Karma is super stiff and makes for a great flick midrange and straight flying backhand.

The stiffness I'd say is the only thing that may make this disc a little less beginner friendly.

    The Gateway Roc?

I don't know Gateway's business strategy, but I have to believe this was their attempt at making a disc that would be comparable to the classic Innova Roc. It feels and looks very similar, but the Sure Grip plastic is better than DX. Very gritty and beats in nicely, but not easily, if that makes any sense at all.

Thrown flat, I have to agree with the flight path shown by Inbounds. There's a little bit of turn, without ever fully flipping over, and a nice, pleasant, forward-penetrating fade. If you need a straighter flight with a fade at the end, just add a little hyzer. Very controllable for turnovers, especially when you beat it in for awhile. The Karma even feels good for forehand shots, even if it doesn't handle the natural torque of a sidearm shot all that well. Between this and the Demon for really overstable shots, you could have a pretty decent all Gateway set-up for mid-ranges. But, I still prefer the Roc.

Love love love love love this disc. I have an s line karma that I cant warp or chip. My go to midrange for any and every shot. Off the tee, need a roller out the woods that I KNOW will finish where I send it, a long approach shot to hit the pole, an anhyzer on a dog leg right, a straight flick that fades softly for a ctp finish. U name it the karma can and will do it. I'm picking up an evo karma just to have another one in my bag that I wont roll. Best midrange on the market in my opinion. More versatility than the roc, better distance and control than the buzz. The more I throw it, the more other disc stat disappearing from my bag. If I can get 4 Karmas in my bag to add to my s series, bye bye evo demon, bye bye evo element, bye bye roc, bye bye buzz ,bye bye river , bye bye every other midrange in the market. Ill keep my warrior and my scout, and I'd have to have speciality plastic mids to keep in my bag. Like my g5i demon, an roc3 or san marino star roc. But there are few contenders the can bring alll the things that one karma in the bag can do just as well or better.

How can you not like a disc with this name? This is great for windy shots and nice flex.drives. I don't sidearm much but Ive seen guys rip some good ones. The rim is a little different than what I'm used to so it took a bit to get the right feel. Overall I use this when I need a little extra length in the wind and to shape shots on a hyzer angle
