The Ghoul by Gateway is a stable to overstable approach disc with a low profile. The forehand comfort is exceptional with a signature thumb-track top and smooth rounded wing. The Ghoul will have a straight to stable flight for power throwers and a stable to overstable finish for players with a lower arm speed.

First of all, a comment on the plastic: Gateway has 2 versions of the Lunar plastic. They have one that is SS or SSS with the added rubber that is fairly flexible, and another that is just the Suregrip plastic with enough additive just to color it. Up until now they have only made the Ghoul in the latter version, something they call "Rocky Lunar." (source: guys at Gateway the other day when I bought the disc). So this Lunar plastic is not as soft as the classic Lunar runs.

Now for the disc itself, I see this has an upgrade to the Devilhawk as a throwing putter. The rim part of the mold (from the Chief) feels better than the wing of the Devilhawk in my hand, on both forehand and backhand. Everything else is as you would expect: this disc doesn't like to fly and fades hard. It is definitely slower and beefier than a Zone, though I have not thrown a Zone OS to compare.
