The Gateway Demon is an extremely overstable midrange. If you're looking for an overstable mid that won't flip over on those really windy days, this is it. The Speed Demon is one of the most OS mids on the market and the best Gateway mid for forehand flick shots.

    Platinum Details

Evolution Platinum is a fantastic ultra premium plastic blend by Gateway. The plastic offers a unique metallic shine that not only looks good, but it is also incredibly grippy and flexible (you can literally fold a Evo-P disc). This plastic blend is especially recommended for playing disc golf when it's cold outside.

I carry Demons as my most overstable sidearm mid/6-speed.  Demons do seem faster than Gators and Caimans. They seem less overstable than a Justice. The flight is pretty straight for a while followed by a hard fade. You can use Demons to dive bomb the basket. There is a hole at my local course that is a tough reach for me using Gators or Caimans, but the Demon gets there just fine. Perhaps the closest comparison is a Discraft Drone; however, I don't like the feel of the Drone as much in the hand.

Update. After much time comparing this disc to others for its particular spot in the bag. The Demon is the gold star ultra performer. At this point, I think I will always prefer Demons over the competition.
